Your work on the Fann Wong article

[edit]

I just want to say that you've done an awesome job in adding all those references to the article, especially within only a day of my addition of the {{unsourced}} template! Now all the article needs is a couple of higher-profile sources, more English references (maybe from her stint in Hollywood), and a bit more polishing, and we can nominate the article for good article status! -ryand 15:09, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fann vs Wong

[edit]

I was wondering about that too, and I posed the question to WP:BIOGRAPHY. Someone said that the current convention was to use the last name of the stage name (like in the Stevie Wonder) article, for example). I'm still unsure about this, however; if you like you could change it back to Fann, at least until someone more knowledgeable about Wikipedia policy on this gives an opinion. -ryand 13:23, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fann Wong

[edit]

Hi there, and welcome. If you need any help creating a navbox for Fann Wong films, let me know. Cheers! Her Pegship 19:08, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fann Wong Navboxes

[edit]

Please do not hard code {{navbox generic}} nor any other navbox template into the page directly. Instead use template space and link to it using braces ({{}}) next time. By doing so you are saving work for your self and others and linked navboxes are updated across all pages. I've already done {{Fann Wong}} for you. Also please do not mark all your edits and provide edit summaries as it help other editor track down changes. --Dispenser 03:35, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Longyanzhou banner.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Longyanzhou banner.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Non-free use disputed for Image:Picture5485.jpg

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Picture5485.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:14, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fann Wong needs some work!

[edit]

This is to inform you that Fann Wong was re-reviewed as part of a GA sweep and is currently on hold. The reviewer, Canadian Paul, raised several minor concerns. Please adddress them as soon as you can so the article will retain GA status. --J.L.W.S. The Special One (talk) 04:03, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Post-146187-1114859306.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Post-146187-1114859306.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:02, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Voda voda! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 298 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Jeff Chang - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Derek Yee - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

AfD nomination of Peschardt's People

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Peschardt's People. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peschardt's People. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:16, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Stella (singer)

[edit]

The article Stella (singer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This person is not a notable Singapore personality. Furthermore, there are no reference links other than to wiki websites. (Originally from User:Channico July 9, 2007.)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Self Destruction (film) for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Self Destruction (film) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Self Destruction (film) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Wgolf (talk) 03:51, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
