X-rays from Li, He, H

[edit]

As I recall, they do emit photons when excited by electrons, but their energy is too low to be called X-rays. Even for Be the energy is on the edge of the X-ray "definition". Regards. Materialscientist (talk) 23:55, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Spectroscopy and spectrometer

[edit]

I reverted your edits to spectrometer.[1] This is the same issue as with spectroscopy[2] and should be discussed. The general consensus is that spectrometers are associated with electromagnetic radiation (e.g. [3]) --Kkmurray (talk) 18:46, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
