Requested move
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: speedy close. According to the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves#Processes beyond the scope of this page a requested move is not the appropriate way to move a page from user space. Instead {{subst:AFC submission/submit}} should be added to the top of the article. I'll be watching this page so simply post below if you wish to move this article to a subpage of your userspace as discussed below. Dpmuk (talk) 22:10, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
User:Vix119 → Buy As You View — Created as a draft in user space, name does not accurately describe page content.--Vix119 (talk) 14:36, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- You should make new articles on a sub-page and most people use a sub-page of their talk page; see Wikipedia:FAKEARTICLE. I do not know much about the topic, and the introduction does not make the notability of the subject clear. Perhaps, it should be moved to a sub-page. Snowman (talk) 22:02, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

- In addition, this page might be helpful for your new draft article; Wikipedia:So you made a userspace draft. New uses can not move pages, so you need help to move pages for a little while. Snowman (talk) 22:38, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Vix119. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Buy as You View, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Widefox; talk 13:41, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
