Speedy deletion nomination of VisualselftitledLP
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on VisualselftitledLP requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the page be "userfied" or emailed to you. - MrX 01:15, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from VisualselftitledLP, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - MrX 01:35, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Lucaspiccoli
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Lucaspiccoli requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". - Wikipedia is not a place for autobiography and self-promotion. You should read our policies on autobiographies and take care not to contravene them. PKT(alk) 16:14, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
The article Visualband has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- It appears to be an autobiography because it is created contained in username. Also, it is a conflict of interest.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Eyesnore (pending changes) 16:18, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. - Why can't I edit Wikipedia?
Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.
- Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?
Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again.
- What can I do now?
If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you will probably not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.
If you do intend to make useful contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:
- Add the text
{{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
on your user talk page. - Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
- Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.

No, that username won't work either - it still has the word Visual (or most of it) and relates to music. Given that your article was about a band, the similarity is too close. Incidentally, what exactly are you planning on doing in the sandbox that you apparently intend to restrict yourself to? Wikipedia is not a web hosting service; if all you want to do is write about your pet musical project somewhere, might I recommend you investigate one of the many alternative outlets that would be perfectly happy to host your contributions. I understand why I was blocked and I apologize. I understand the conduct and all of the rules and the fact that wikipedia is an ecyclopedia and not a web hosting site. I would like my new username to be GrooveGuitarBasslp. I would also refrain from using wikipedia and editting and wish to be unblocked. I will use facebook and twitter to host. Thank you. I plan on using wikipedia. I would just please want my ip unblocked as I look at things from the perspective that I was banned for an eternity. I will just follow all of the wikipedia rules and conduct. My new username request is Grooveguitarbasslp. Please unblock me and I will forever be greatful. Visualband (talk) 21:58, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You do not need to be unblocked to "use" Wikipedia - only to edit. You have clearly not read the Guide to appealing blocks, and you have failed multiple times to provide any good reason to permit you to ever unblock. "Indefinite" does not mean "until eternity" - it means "until the community is convinced that the behaviour will not recur". I'm not convinced, nor does it appear that you have any valid reason for unblocking. Go - read articles freely. Do not attempt to edit, don't even change a comma using either an account or anonymously (✉→BWilkins←✎) 10:13, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
