The article Tax audit under section 44aba of indian income tac act has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to be a guide on completing a tax audit. Wikipedia is not an instruction manual

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. NtheP (talk) 10:11, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of G. Ramaswamy, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.icaiarf.org/vicechairman.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Your addition has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. A tag has been placed on T.N. Manoharan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to T.N. Manoharan, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Codf1977 (talk) 16:53, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to T.N. Manoharan. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. DustiSPEAK!! 17:00, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

T. N. Manoharan

[edit]

Regarding Manoharan's article. I have some advice

1) Don't add stuff that makes the article look like a resume (like educational qualifications and fields of expertise). It should be written in prose (in sentences). Read WP:MOS on how wikipedia articles should look like

2) While adding references, look how other references have been added and follow the syntax.

3) I have cleaned up the article so that it won't be deleted. If you persist in making the changes which makes it as messy as before, it looks bad in its deletion discussion. If you want to keep the article here, please follow my lead and add clean data--Sodabottle (talk) 06:03, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More advice 1) wikiproject banner should not be in the article page. it should be added only in the talk page of the article 2) Add a brief Help:Edit summary with each edit you are doing to describe what change you are making to article. It will be helpful for other editors.--Sodabottle (talk) 07:10, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

STOP

[edit]

Stop adding wikiproject India banners to the article pages. They should be only in the Talk pages not in the article pages.--Sodabottle (talk) 07:15, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for repeated abuse of editing privileges. Please stop. You are welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. You have been blocked for restoring copyrighted content to the article Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Having been blocked for copyright violations earlier this week, you should at this point be amply well aware that we are not permitted to import copyrighted content to Wikipedia. By removing that template, which clearly indicates, "Do not edit this page until an administrator or an OTRS agent has resolved this issue." you make yourself responsible for its contents.
If after this block expires you continue to place copyrighted content on the project either directly or by restoring copyright problems that have been blanked or removed, your account may be blocked for a longer time. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:31, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually its i who placed the copyright violate template on Institute of Chartered Accountants of India page. i placed it accidentally.thats why i removes it--Vishnu1.218 (talk) 14:09, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed your unblock request while we discuss this. I'm afraid it was not the proper unblock request to use; you were not autoblocked. However, it was not you who placed that copyright violation template on the article; I did. Can you clarify: were you the IP contributor who originally tagged it? --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:15, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

tagged it means? i had placed copy right violation template in that page. i it self deleted it.. how does the use of those quotes become copyright violation. ICAI is a government of India body and those words are not copyrighted.--Vishnu1.218 (talk) 14:24, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am presuming good faith and have unblocked you, but I do need to clarify this situation. If you are the IP who originally tagged the article, you were right to have done so. But the tag you removed was not placed by you; you were not self-reverting. If you follow this link, you will see that the tag was placed by me.
While the content was copied from the organization itself, we do not have verification that the organization has authorized the reuse of their content. On the contrary, their webpage indicates that all of their content is reserved ("Copyright 2008 All rights reserved to the ICAI"). The template includes instructions for interested parties to verify that licensing. Without that verification, the content cannot be imported to Wikipedia. The government of India retains copyright on most of their work, excepting only laws and certain other documents. See [1]. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:23, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

thanks yaaar for unblocking me..i m just a beginner in wiki....hey can u pls see a page which i created? T .N. Manoharan[ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T_.N._Manoharan]. a deletion tag is placed in it. how should i remove it.pls help.--Vishnu1.218 (talk) 14:28, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That one is just a matter of patience. Articles for deletion are listed for seven days, after which an administrator reviews them and determines what the community has decided. In this case, it looks like the community is deciding to keep the article. If they do, the administrator who closes the debate will remove the tag from the article at the same time. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:32, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

thanks dear....so u r working for wiki? i m enjoying wiki now. r u from India?--Vishnu1.218 (talk) 14:34, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad you're enjoying Wikipedia. :) I know that there can be a learning curve. I'm a volunteer administrator for the site. I am not from India, but working with copyright matters for Wikipedia has required me to become familiar with the copyright laws of many different countries, even though the laws of the United States are the ones that govern the US-based Wikipedia. If you are the IP who found and tagged all those articles, I appreciate it. I was asked to investigate your tags and cleaned up quite a bit of copyrighted material because of it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:37, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hehe...i placed those copyright tags in lot of pages for fun..!!! happy to know that it all served the purpose. i m really unable to understand how wiki is able to maintain this much authenticity when anyone make changes. hey can u give me ur email id ..if it ok??--Vishnu1.218 (talk) 14:42, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

can u pls c this page- Indian Institutes of Technology.i created a small mistake in the first line to expiriment the self healing power of wiki.. it dint heal till nw..the mistake still exist.!!!--Vishnu1.218 (talk) 14:44, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if by "for fun" you mean you enjoyed finding the copyright problems, that's good; most of the articles did have copyright problems. :) But don't use the template, though, for fun if you don't think it applies. That's considered vandalism and can also wind up with a block. Likewise it's really not a good idea to introduce deliberate mistakes to test the system. Wikipedia has quite a few dedicated volunteers who keep an eye out for problems in articles, whether that's mistakes or malicious edits. While I think the system works pretty well all things considered, it isn't perfect. If you've introduced an error to Indian Institutes of Technology, please repair it. You should not be blocked now and should be able to clean up after yourself.
I prefer to talk on Wikipedia itself, but if you need to communicate with me or with any user privately, you can check in the toolbox at the side of their userpage to see if there is an "email this user" option. Note that you can only do this if you authorize e-mail for yourself under your "preferences" tab at the top. When people e-mail me, I do keep the details of their correspondence private, to respect their confidentiality, but I frequently do not respond through e-mail. Instead, I'll do what I can on Wikipedia itself. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:52, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hmm..ohkkk..i m not able to repair the mistake i made in Indian Institutes of Technology because i m still blocked.!! does wiki pay you for your service?--Vishnu1.218 (talk) 15:00, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Strange. Earlier it told me there were no autoblocks on your account. It should be all right now. Administrators on Wikipedia are not paid. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:03, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

thanks..nw i m unblocked. i made good the error i made... if u r not getting paid how can u spend lottof time here? were r u frm?--Vishnu1.218 (talk) 15:07, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hey Mme.. can u pls clear the article Institute of Chartered Accountants of India..it should not remain like that for long time.its a premier body in India - --Vishnu1.218 (talk) 15:10, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hello..u must b busy rite?--Vishnu1.218 (talk) 15:22, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I was indeed busy. I am from the East Coast of the United States; my employment leaves me with a lot of free time on my hands between brief periods of intense business. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will remain blanked until permission is verified or the concerns are cleared in some other way. If no action is taken, after one week I or another administrator will do something if no other remedy is presented, whether that be recreating the article as a clean "stub" or something else. It depends on how far back the problem seems to go. Thanks for fixing the error you made. Wikipedia relies on the good will of the community to help build as reliable a product as we can. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:48, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
