You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated abuse of editing privileges. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Attack pages and multiple abusive accounts are not tolerated. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 22:30, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, My friend Matt has wanted an article on himself for a while, and I don't understand why I was blocked indefinetly. I am also wondering why I was blocked for having multiple accounts(this is the first time I had ever made an account in my short lifetime) and why I was blocked for attacks. Please respond as soon as possible.

Decline reason:

Details of your sockpuppetry are here. If you're not a sockpuppet, you fail the duck test. I suggest you read WP:GAB if you really want to be unblocked.

Your request to be unblocked is declined because it does not address the reason for your block or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince administrators either (a) that the block was made in error or (b) that the block is no longer necessary because you understand what you are blocked for and you will not repeat that behavior or otherwise disrupt Wikipedia again and you will make productive contributions instead. Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. Toddst1 (talk) 23:21, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Sorry, but the article you created really doesn't meet our inclusion criteria -- if we let everyone post a page about their friend, the project would quickly become overrun with pages the vast majority of people would have no interest in reading; in order to keep Wikipedia useful, we need to delete pages which won't interest our readers, or which fall outside the scope of our project. If you take a look at our community portal, is there some other topic where you might be interested in contributing? – Luna Santin (talk) 23:05, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thank you Luna. Is there some way I can get this block removed? I don't understand why I was blocked...Seems a little harsh to be blocked for writing your first article on your friend and not knowing that it was a violation, don't you agree?

I imagine the quick block was at least partly because someone had very recently posted an article by the same name, from another account, but it's hard to know for sure without asking the blocking admin. I usually prefer to assume good faith when I can, so let's see where this goes. For now, I'll be leaving a note with the blocking admin notifying them of your request, and in the meantime other admins may arrive to comment on this situation. – Luna Santin (talk) 23:26, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I've gone ahead and unblocked the account. You're free to edit.  :) --PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:42, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks :D

Better late than never; welcome!
