Brigitte Bardot

[edit]

Hello, earlier today you moved Brigitte Bardot from List of vegetarians [1] to Pescetarianism#List_of_pescetarians [2] on the basis of her memoirs "Le carré de Pluton, 1999, ISBN 978-2246595014". This is an interesting thing to discover, but the reference as it is makes it difficult for readers to check the information, especially for English readers. Since it is a 700 page book is it possible for you to provide a page number as well? Betty Logan (talk) 18:46, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I know there are several interviews in France where Brigitte Bardot herself admitted to eat fish sometimes (and being vegetarian in the same time, which makes the confusion), but I don't have kept any precise reference. I have another reference on a French vegan site, but the site is down since a week. But the book "Le carré de Pluton" is quoted on French Wikipedia as a reference. Sadly there isn't any precise page, but I know this has been verified and validated on French Wikipedia which I am an old contributor (automatically verified), and the entire French vegetarian community which I am a member does not consider Brigitte Bardot as a vegetarian (only Brigitte Bardot and pescetarians consider her as vegetarian because for them a vegetarian eats fish). Sorry if I do some spelling faults too as I am French myself... If you would like to do more verifications, look on Brigitte Bardot's French page where I took the reference. --Violaine2 (talk) 18:22, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
