Persistent adding of non-relevant events

[edit]

There is a strong evidence that the edit activity of 125.60.195.230 and of yours are the same. If you will read the history of the 2015 in the Philippines article, there were notes added in order to provide a rationale why your edits were removed. Please consider reading them first. Also, a discussion is being made in the talk page of the same article in order to streamline what events should and should not be added in it. This will also serve as a standard for the events that will be added in the future articles, and what should be removed in the previous articles. If you want to defend your edits, please consider discussing it with the others first via the talk page.--AR E N Z O Y 1 6At a l k 05:10, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to 2015 in the Philippines, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at 2013 in the Philippines. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. AR E N Z O Y 1 6At a l k 09:24, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1907 in the Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Filipino. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please take time to read some page history notes/summaries

[edit]

Please, can you take time in reading the History of the 2015 in the Philippines. We have been adding notes there. It's kind of annoying that you keep adding something, when in fact we added an explanatory note there on why we have to remove your edits. If you really want to be helpful here in Wikipedia, please take time to read history notes/summaries. Thanks. --AR E N Z O Y 1 6At a l k 15:05, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also please visit the talk page of 2015 in the Philippines, we have been discussing the standards needed for the same type of articles.--AR E N Z O Y 1 6At a l k 15:19, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Template:Noynoy Aquino a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. –HTD 02:12, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2015 in the Philippines, you may be blocked from editing. You have repeatedly warned about your actions of adding non-relevant information in the 2015 in the Philippines article. I just don't know if you don't understand what those guidelines are or you just simply ignore them. AR E N Z O Y 1 6At a l k 03:55, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2014 in the Philippines. Last warning. Again, you have been warned about your repeated action of adding events that are irrelevant or not important to this and some more similar articles, as per guidelines set in this type of articles (as seen on the talk page of 2015 in the Philippines). Please do not disregard this warning. This is for your and the entire community's benefit. If you are really serious about helping this community, learn to conform and follow guidelines. Thanks.

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Hariboneagle927. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Concerns on your edit.

[edit]

Please be more selective on adding entries on the years in the Philippines articles. I assume you have genuine intentions to improve the articles. I and other editors have made guideline discussions at the 2015 in the Philippines talkpage. You have the right to disagree and evend defend your entries point by point. The problem is Philippine local media is not flawed and is not safe from bias. For example, weddings of celebrities and viral videos on the internet are treated as a events of national concern. They may be talked about all over the country but they are not really notable in the grand scheme of the nation's history. Reporters may also choose to overhype an issue such as the Nicole mystery death to highlight the issue of annual deaths during New Year celebrations. Being talked about does not warranty notability.

No issue so far for your other edits not related to X in the Philippines.

It seems that you have an idea know how to use the talk page. Please participate at this discussion to let your opinions be heard. Maybe you might convince us of your point. And sorry I was not able to read your rather "kind" message until Muffin Wizzard pointed out here at your talk page.--Hariboneagle927 (talk) 03:06, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
