The function of a User page is to provide a short description of you and your intent to be an editor for Wikipedia. Look at others for examples. I see that you have returned to Wikipedia after several years. Having content on User pages is optional. If nothing, then your User name appears as red. With any content, name appears as blue. Some people have very little. Others put in a lot of time adding Userboxes, art, etc. While that can be fun, the stated purpose of the encyclopedia is to improve the encyclopedia.
