I've uploaded a new image for Tim (from Keane). I Tim does look best on this new photo. I think you know is from Q Magazine. Hope you like it. I'll also move the photos of Tim, Tom and Richard to the SOWK article. I saw your post on the discussion and after thinking about it it seems a good idea. I posted the article yesterday as you may have noticed: Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Somewhere Only We Know/archive1. Is not recieving many good comments :(. Also soon I'll post the main Keane article there. A few moments ago I made some changes on the page and I think it's ready for there. Maybe I'll need help

Painbearer has been reverting many of the changes many people (included me) have made to the Keane article. He says is too much redundant information and that is not useful. However, many of the information he has deleted was important for the band. I'm not considering it as vandalism as he did that in good faith. The thing is now he accuses me of deleting other people's work (about 2 sentences of four different people) when he deleted most of our work from the two past months. So, it would be nice if you can help me reverting these changes Thanks again for supporting me with the FAs. Keane was removed but I'll try in the future again :DFluence 22:35, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your support. I think that guy also has been destroying Coldplay's page. Maybe the guy needs to learn how important is Keane.

This is what we can do:
He warned me of blocking me from editing on the Wikipedia if I continue and la la la...
I've reverted 4 times by now his edits and retired a protection warning (indicating the page was protected, which actually wasn't) and removed some of my edits as they looked even illogical for me. If someone blocks me from editing, there's where you can act. I'm trying to look for help on the official forum but most of they think as wikipedia as a trashcan :( And, about Tom's problem with drugs, many have taken rid(of the article you created for Tom) to vandalise it. OK, seems that idiot has stopped reverting the Keane article, at least he's on vacations... I saw the message last Friday but, well my English is not perfect, so I didn't understand the real meaning of the word but now... I've warned that guy of stop offending you and Tom. I asked for help to John254 who helped me before on Keane's article vandalism and asked him to expell The Mekon from the Wikipedia. I think he has commited vandalism before and being blocked but this is enough. I've reverted vandalism from the Tom's talk page. However, I cannot delete the signed comments. Archives

Hi Victoria!

Thanks for the message - I hope you don't mind I've just gone ahead and done your first archive for you for simplicity's sake! It's very simple really - all you have to do is type User talk:Victoria Eleanor/Archive X into the search bar, and then create the page as directed (obviously replacing "X" with whatever number it is. Then just copy/paste content from this page into your archive page, and hey presto you have an archive!

I have also taken the liberty of creating an archive box for you (I've been intending on doing it on my page for months but have been to lazy - you message has spurred me into doing it now!). Basically, whenever you create an archive, just update User talk:Victoria Eleanor/archivebox with the new link, and add the template link {{User talk:Victoria Eleanor/archivebox}} at the top of any page you so wish.

Hope this is of help to you - let me know if you want any further explanations!

Hello Victoria... I really do need help now. Some guys (Painbearer, specially Richyard and that The Mekon idiot) have started deleting Keane articles (Rare songs by Keane, Keane trivia, Keane's controversies and now proposed for deletion List of songs by Keane, A Heart To Hold You, Hopes and Fears Tour, Under the Iron Sea Tour (this was new), Hopes and Fears DVD and Under the Iron Sea DVD) and I hope you can help me expressing your opinion about this on the articles entries. Sorry for that ;) It's just you only kind of dissapeared but it's fine. Sometimes it also happens to me :)
As you may have seen, the edit war continued "active" throughout September and half October. Users came and gone. FlyngNelly, U2QueenBee and D-r-i-n-k-y who are also Keane fans, appeared and started editing for good Painbearer's changes but, somehow, they soon, Nelly changed her mind and continued to what Painbearer was doing. Then, Richyard as I told you appeared. Soon was followed by The Mekon and Dreaded Walrus. After long discussions between Painbearer and advocate Pedant, we became to an agree to discuss changes to the Keane article on its Talk page since that's what is for. However, Painbearer just wanted to crop the article (which presented an accurate and even brilliant prose and grammar) labelling himself as an exclusionist (people looking for "useful" information). Mr. Scare was someone showing firstly neutral and he edited the article on grammar to make it better. After adding a sentence which was hidden, he answered with this on the Talk Page (read especially the bold sentence):

“ I don't recall "reaching a concensus". I did my best to make this article make sense but you've continued to try to drag it back to the miserable state it used to be in. Endlessly reverting and comparing the utterly insignificant Keane to the greatest band ever just serves to make you look like an idiot. The Beatles were bigger than Jesus, Tom Chaplin just has a bigger FACE. Shut up, Fluence. Mr. Scare 16:17, 13 October 2006 (UTC) ”

Removing that as vandalism I really think this dude deserves a punishment. One thing is to offend me or my article version and another very different is to offend Tom.

Anyway, the thing is currently Pedant is kind of fed up with the battle and he has warned us to stop attacking ourselves. I really hope this can be solved soon. For the time being, take a look at the current article version ;)--Fluence 21:12, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Actualy no I didn't upload that. Turns out that image has been on Commons since June. However since if had the same filename as "your" local fair use image it could not be used. Australia!

I really like australia. i used to have an obsession with Australia a few years ago until I changed it for england, hehe. Well, yeah I used to play basketball in school last year but now I'm focusing more in my "piano skills". I've lost some practica on basket but well i think i can get better ;)
And about the place i live, I can tell you. hehe. I live in a municipality called "Chalco" (or "Xalco") in the State of Mexico. It comes from the nahuatl Xalco which means "a place near water". In ancient times it bordered the Xalco lake and was a bit far from Mexihco Tenochtitlan. It was conquered in 1510. Time changes things so when Mexico City started to grow in 1940, the nearest places like Naucalpan became part of the city!. It was until 1980 that chalco was considered within or specifically "metropolitan area". So, i live near mexico city!. It's a nice place though is two hours far from Mexico, where my school is! I'm sorry about your parents. It wasn't that long ago for your dad as my grandma (she died 1998). But I got impressed about victoria being your mother's name. I mean, rarely, your username is your real name but i didn't know she existed. she'd be proud of you i don't doubt it. is a nice action :)

Oh and about the place, not all people know that. I've read somewhere that and my grandpa has told me and you know, I've just mixed it all to get a real fact ;). And once you said it, you're right. Oh god, i didn't know that (obviously hehe). It happens the same with me, well, somehow, excepting I don't suffer from that as far as I know.

It happens it's difficult for me to start, for example, a conversation, or talking to someone, until someone talks to me. It's funny you know. Unlike almost all teenagers I know, I don't spend time out hanging with people or going to parties, so I prefer to stay at home with the lap or listening music. that's my userbox refering actually to. Maybe I don't have a lot of friends but I have good friends, like my friend himself says. I think internet is an excelent media to meet people. If you get mad with someone, you just simply close the window! I must say my CD Collection is one of my proudest possessions - it's so nice to be able to physically see and touch all your music and know that it'll always be there even if your hard drive gets wiped! And considering how cheap you can buy CDs online these days, I really don't see any excuse for copying and piracy in general. ah well - the world goes on!

Great you're back! I was thinking the last week on talking you but now you're back, it's easier. Well, I've been listening to new Britain music (new for me). Suddenly, my user page includes Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand and Muse, who are my top 2 under Keane. Also The Killers, though they're American. Last week knew about The Zutons and The Streets but I've been looking forward to The Vines and Kasabian but I haven't heard anything from them on the radio. Someone you like but I don't are Arctic Monkeys, I don't know why but maybe it's just their style. Curious. But well, Absolution has became my top 2 album, after Hopes and Fears. I love all songs from Absolution, almost all from BHAR, i can't get used yet to Hoodoo hehe. And wow, on Saturday, i found a Hullabaloo Soundtrack in my local music store. it costed around $343 or £17 but it worths!

From Louisiana. The problem with that bot is that it flags your images but most people don't know how to fix them. You add a rationale then remove the notice that it was flagged with, and they images should be OK. I think I took care of yours. Hope this is fixed soon. Hi again. Nice hearing from you haha. Are you really retiring? Well, I've recently quite low also on edits. I'm kind of sick of this Wikipedia. Too much people you know, so I'm encouraging the growing of the Nahuatl Huiquipedia, a peaceful place with five users and 1600 articles. Oh and guess what, I have listened to The Vines, actually, one song "Don't Listen To the Radio" and I think they're quite good but I note an 80's retro style on their music. Good title too, don't listen to it at least in Mexico cause the best you'll hear will be The Killers!. I'm looking forward also for Razorlight and a song of them I love, "Golden Touch". Hi Victoria good to hear from you. I've not been spending so much time on Wikipedia these days as uni life is far too busy and there are not really enough hours in the day to get everything done. However, I have added an unsigned comment template for your previous message - the details were retreived from your talk page edit history. However, other than the anonymous IP, it is hard to be any more specific. All I would say is that every so often some idiot somewhere will pick out a certain individual to target and continously vandalise their page. I've had it done to mine many a time ([4] [5] [6] for a few examples) - don't take it personally, these people are just idiots who don't have anything better to do with their lives. haha don't worry about it! I find it quite amusing to be honest - there are so many mistakes in two and half sentences that it's impossible to take anything seriously. Apparently I'm a Muslim from Pakistan who lives in poverty and hates America, when in fact I'm a Catholic from India who goes to Oxford University and hates America. well while I agree with you that mixed-ethnicity marriages are v.good, I am totally Indian in terms of blood. My parents are both from the same town in India (although they met in the Middle East), but I was born in London so to that extent I consider myself very much British (as well as being very much Indian). Userbox

Well seems Mekon or somewhat has returned. Another mistake of life. Another mistake of Wikipedia. It went to Nahuatl too but I could block it. He should have said I hate America too cause I do also haha. About the userboxes, they usually use complex html codes that may be difficult to handle without experience. I didn't created my userbox from nothing; I took the format from another userbox. It's quite hard still but I suggest you to take the format from an existing one, depending on the color you'd like. Find the userbox page (Usually on template:name) and click to edit. Copy everything to a notepad file as it'll be easier to edit. Find the message shown on the userbox and replace it with yours. Images are harder but also possible, replacing the original image's name with yours. Hope it helps :)--Fluence 01:34, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Its so good to hear from you again! I am doing very good. How about you? Whats the tag about your retirement doing on the front page? :-O .. Well, to tell you the truth, I know how you feel. (about wikipedia that is). Wikipedia isn't what it used to be anymore. Its not "enjoyable" anymore, in the sense that I could edit it and give myeslf a few smiles along with it. I've tried to come back to editing, but got bored really quickly. Its a pain to live (and edit) upto everyones seiousness around here. Check the last message on my user page, you'll know what I mean. I have no idea what to do about it! So, maybe until I become a little elder and get some seriousness knocked into my head, I wont be editing wikipedia a lot. I do check my account frequetly though. And we got bigger plans after that too. So, my music's really taking off. My college is a bit of a pain though. Finding myself having to struggle a bit. But I am making it. Since I took up the course off of my own interest (computer sciences), so, its going alright. And whats happening with you!?????? And our team won the league! I am constantly reminded of you whenever I think of Man U, and I am overly jealous that you could see the match between ManU and Arsenal. :-) .. It lost the FA cup though. Hey! Yeah, I heard a couple of songs by The Vines. Really liked them! But my situation and location does not allow me to buy any of their(and a lots more bands too) CDs. Because, they are not being sold here. I really only have one way to get the music I like. I think you can guess what that is. :-) .. And yeah, congrats to ourselves for sticking with ManU. I knew they'd bounce back! :-D .. There's this really different 3-piece band called Menomena. I have their album and they are really good! One of them even plays an instrument with his feet!(among other things) :-P .. I'll leave the rest for you to discover, if you haven't already that is. They're really worth a listen! You need more help than I do

Seems someone has been vandalising your talk page with my name. Check the IP on the history section; if it appears as my edit, then I have a greater problem: someone has hacked my IP. Seems those were written during weekend; I've never edited on weekends 'cause I don't have access to a computer so it's funny and impossible you know?! My last edit was on June 15 about the userbox I'll never change Keane as my favorite band; well, however, I do believe Muse as a better band than Keane. It's so odd for me but on lyrics and musicians quality and composition I have to accept Muse are better, but that doesn't change my thought on Keane as my favorite band ever. I restored Tom's page. I can't tell you what I'm planning due these "people" being around but Tom's article will live. I'll restore or see what can be done about their images. They're being deleted! You know by "fair use rationale"; I've never and I'll never understand what's that fuss about. That image can be found anywhere on the internet!
