Hello, help?
User:Team6and7 is proposing a deletion of a page I created, Green Acres Middle School. He has already done this once but you undid it because you said "Decline speedy - schools are exempt from A7". Help, please.
Thanks User:VISALIA2010 —Preceding undated comment added 20:26, 23 May 2010 (UTC).
Hey Vianello - you've deleted Ground Zero (American Band) - 02:39, 31 May 2010 - due to what you say is (G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement of http://ko-kr.facebook.com/pages/Ground-Zero/105583606142548) The reality is that the site that you mention has copied the wiki page - not the other way around. So put it back please - it is in no way a copyright infringement - I did the research on it and wrote it all myself. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Neatguy (talk • contribs)
Ok - Notability - that’s a different issue. And while it might be border line to include the American band Ground Zero. There are reasons to suggest that it is worthy of inclusion.
1. Ground Zero was the first album to be produced by Michael Salvatori. And the success of the album was partially responsible for getting him noticed by Martin O'Donnell.
2. Ground Zero was a hit in Japan. According to Mr. Luchs (A&R representative of the now defunct Retreat Records of Chicago, IL which released the Ground Zero Album) and Mr. Yamashita (executive of Fujisankei who distributed the record in Japan): the Ground Zero album Tokyo Express briefly hit #76 on the Japanese Rock charts in Autumn 1980.

Re:Speedy deletion nomination of Ground Zero (American band)
It seems that the source for http://ko-kr.facebook.com/pages/Ground-Zero/105583606142548 was in fact the former version of Ground Zero (band). I've had this before: you create an article as a split-off from another one and you can get a red-alert for copyright due to wikipedia mirrors. In any case, I was just making sure Ground Zero (band) wasn't about two different bands at once. I hadn't thought to check the quality of material that Neatguy had been entering. Just checking - when do you think you'll get back to me? Neatguy (talk) 22:04, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

A good thanks to you
Thank you for unblocking my user. i have not been on since after I made my choices about what pages i'm going to make. I'm going to start researching.--Rhiannon5577 01:03, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
There's a difference between confused editors acting in good faith and vandalism
See Talk:JaMarcus Russell. Repeated, blatant personal attacks against me and other users (after repeated warnings) and continued violations of 3RR, lack of regard for any of wikipedia's policies. This has gotten out of hand. 02:55, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
Silverandblack is back. Easily fails the duck test, no need for SPI case. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:37, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
User:Nick Chirco evading 24-hour block
Hello. I noticed that User:Nick Chirco, whom you blocked at 4:03 today, has started editing again as User:ChircoN some 10 hours later. I posted to ANI, apparently not the right place, but maybe you'll want to take a look. Thanks! — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 15:37, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I'm glad you appreciated the last notification; see how this one grabs you (just in case you happen to be lurking online, or are still interested): he doesn't give up easily. He also started another account, User:Chirco and the man. ANI report at WP:ANI#Chirco now evading block with 3rd account. Regards, — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 00:04, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
None of Your Business
Why delete it? I actually put a lot of effort into writing that article, tbh. AtheneWon (talk) 08:10, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
Okay, you didn't really tell me why it was deleted. Try being a bit more expressive. AtheneWon (talk) 07:44, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
No London
Yesterday, you (quite quickly) deleted our page about an upcoming band. This is fair, since the page was composed of mostly sarcasm. However, can you email us a copy of the page? Or just post it here.. It was pretty short. It just means a lot to us. Thank-you. No London

Deletion
Hello. I would like some more information as to why our page was deleted. The "Speedy deletion cites per CSD G11, was blatant advertising, used only to promote someone or something. Note that simply having a company or product as its subject does not qualify an article for this criterion." However, other cosmetic company articles take a similar format. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

- This page is a fancruft and needs to be deleted immediately. He is a contestant of a TV show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010 and has done no any other show except for this one. When the show is searched through Google, this redirected page appears instead of the actual show being searched. It has been already previously deleted as it is a fancruft, but it seems like another fan tried to recreate it. Please delete the page, thank you.--TwelveOz (talk) 18:02, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you.--TwelveOz (talk) 18:06, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
They seemed to get what they blocked for and have agreed to change their username and follow the COI policy. Based on your remarks there I figured it would be ok with you if I went ahead and unblocked, let me know if I was mistaken. Beeblebrox (talk) 16:04, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yep, fine by me. I trust your judgment in general, and your assessment of this situation seems on the ball. - Vianello (Talk) 03:23, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
Editing by a blocked user
Hello, I noticed you originally blocked an anonymous user as per my ARV report regarding vandalism on India and weapons of mass destruction. I have a strong feeling that said anon has registered for a new account and is making the same edits to the article. It's salient because the account was created almost the day his previous block expired and that his contributions closely mirror the anon's. I was just wondering if you could take a look into the matter. Thanks, Vedant (talk) 00:38, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply. I'm familiar with SPI and have had to use it a few times to report certain users. I was hesitant to submit another SPI case primarily because my previous one was open for 19 days before acted upon (primarily due to the lack of substantive evidence). At this point, I do suspect a few users as acting as sockpuppets for others but I don't want to mislabel anyone or raise any unwarranted suspicions. Thanks, Vedant (talk) 18:45, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
