DON'T FORGET ME BRO is not an autobiography and should not be deleted.
[edit]Bonadea,
Stephen F. Austin State University Press published DON'T FORGET ME BRO in April of 2015. We found the work to be a highly compelling, well-told story of loss and discovery. Having been a language arts teacher for several years, I became familiar with Mr. Cummings' work after reading his first novel, THE NIGHT I FREED JOHN BROWN, which reached national acclaim when it won the Paterson Prize for Books for Young Readers and was one of ten recommended reads by USA TODAY. Needless to say, I was thrilled when DON'T FORGET ME BRO was submitted to SFASU Press for publication.
John Michael Cummings is a force in southern gothic literature as well as young adult literature. His works have been nationally reviewed, and I find this article about him quite helpful for those researching American Authors, American Literature, Southern Literature, Gothic Literature, Southern Gothic Literature, or Young Adult Literature.
Thank you very much for considering this,
