Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Veni.Sponsa.Samurai, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Principality of Vlachia, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.
Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. - Hello Super Dro, thank you for the warm welcome :) I am very new to Wikipedia & was quite shocked to see my 1st 2 "baby" articles (Vlachia & H.I.H Jacob) were flagged for deletion. I have removed the warnings, but I'd like to ask for leniency. Vlachia is a fairly new microstate & there are not many sources registered on the Internet to back it up, except the one & only website created by H.I.H Jacob, Prince of the Vlachs himself. I can link the official Principality of Vlachia Instagram account for evidence, but is it a wise idea? Please kindly give me some time to improve the editing! - Hi, I would please ask you not to remove the tags (from the article, I don't mind from this page). There's not much you can do on this case, micronations (microstates such as San Marino are something else) usually don't meet the notability (you might already know but these blue things are links to articles, Wikipedia rules that I recommend taking a look at in this case) criteria, which means that the subject with a page has been discussed by several sources such as newspapers, academic journals and books. The official page of a subject is not acceptable because it's a primary source, and pages can only use it for specific details if there's no other source discussing them, but not for a whole article. It is not recommended to do pages about recent subjects according to the rule WP:TOOSOON, which basically means subjects should be left a time so that potential sources talking about them appear (or so that new data is reliable and stable and doesn't vary, for example for the death of a celebrity, but that's not in this case). I would recommend you to move both H.I.H Jacob, Prince of the Vlachs and Principality of Vlachia to subpages of your userpages, which would be User:Veni.Sponsa.Samurai/H.I.H Jacob, Prince of the Vlachs and User:Veni.Sponsa.Samurai/Principality of Vlachia. There they can stay pretty much forever so you can keep improving the pages and waiting for sources talking about both subjects to appear (if they do). Another alternative is moving both pages to the draftspace but drafts are deleted after 6 months of inactivity so that might be worse. But at their current state, neither of the pages have enough relevance to have their own pages. I ask for some perspective from Wikipedia's side, can you imagine what it would be like if we had pages about every single micronation, only sourced by their official pages? Super Ψ Dro 15:33, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- Ah I get what you mean now, Super Dro. I sincerely wished this micro-state has its own Wikipedia page but I think if it's far too new & based only 1 source alone it's not reliable. I am sorry I wasn't aware of Wikipedia's policies & will do the move for the 2 pages accordingly. Thank you! Veni.Sponsa.Samurai (talk) 15:44, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- No problem, but you've moved them as if they were a new Wikipedia user, they are supposed to be moved to a subpage of your own userpage, which you can do with the links I left above: User:Veni.Sponsa.Samurai/H.I.H Jacob, Prince of the Vlachs and User:Veni.Sponsa.Samurai/Principality of Vlachia. - Yes, I don't know how to do it. My apologies! Veni.Sponsa.Samurai (talk) 15:49, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- That said ... I don't think I know how to move them to the subpages of my userpage...Will you be able to assist? Veni.Sponsa.Samurai (talk) 15:48, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, of course. I've moved them to subpages of your userpage. Super Ψ Dro 16:00, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- I inform you that cross-namespace redirects (that is, a redirect from one kind of page, such as the default one for Wikipedia articles, to a kind of page made for users, such as your userpage) are not allowed, so I've requested their deletion. This will have no consequences against the subpages I've created. Super Ψ Dro 16:09, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

The article Principality of Vlachia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article based on primary sources, no apparent notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Super Ψ Dro 09:41, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

Links to draft articles
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to H.I.H Jacob, Prince of the Vlachs. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 14:04, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- Dear Arjayay, thank you so much. I'm still learning how to edit & I'm sorry I forgot to fix it. Thanks a lot! Veni.Sponsa.Samurai (talk) 15:09, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
