Desperate Housewives' Susan
[edit]As stated in ep. 4.01 Susan has kept her former last name. Thus I change back the move of Susan Mayer. Pjär80 22:33, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Her article should be named that, Venez111, because that is her common name. Look at the talk page for Gabrielle Solis, and you'll see what I'm talking about when I say common name. The decision for her article to remain at Gabrielle Solis was made by a group of editors; it is consensus. Her article will be moved back to Gabrielle Solis. Flyer22 05:28, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- And your move spelled her first name wrong. Refrain from moving this article again. Flyer22 05:32, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Name changes
[edit]Also, read up on Wikipedia's policy about common name. The Gabrielle Solis article should be titled Gabrielle Solis...because that's her common name. Most people are not going to type in Gabrielle Lang or Gabrielle Marquez Lang when searching for this character, because those names are not her common name. She is still listed as Gabrielle Solis on most official and unofficial sites, and even if that were not the case, divorced from Carlos or not, she is mostly known as Gabrielle Solis. The argument of common name can be made for Susan Mayer as well. Once these articles are changed back to their common names, refrain from changing them back to their uncommon names. Flyer22 05:50, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
I've advised you before against this, now I'm warning you. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Susan Mayer by moving her article to her uncommon name, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Flyer22 21:22, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
