You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 04:36, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I think there were editing conflicts when I was editing so I added the things back as I thought it was an error. Didn't know you were editing at the same time. Please unblock.

Decline reason:

Appropriate evidence has been provided to me off-wiki. Please review the link provided by Drmies regarding paid editing. SQLQuery me! 05:08, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Understand what you meant about paid advertising but it is not the case here though. The content was there when I was doing edit today and I got the content-conflict message after I tried to save. I then went into the history and copied the content back as I thought it was an error. So, knowing that the deleted content was inappropriate, it will not be added back onto the article. Please unblock, thanks. I went through all the guidelines just now.

Decline reason:

I don't buy it. I'm convinced of a conflict of interest. Yamla (talk) 14:11, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If unblocked, what articles do you intend to edit? SQLQuery me! 05:26, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
First, I will review this page to see if the rest of the page complies with the guidelines, then I will continue with other startup pages.VeldmanHeather (talk) 05:30, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As an administrator, I assure you that this talkpage complies with current wikipedia guidelines. What specific articles do you intend to edit if unblocked? SQLQuery me! 05:33, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@SQL I mean review the Oddup page, as I was informed that the page may still have issues from my previous edits. Then I will start writing on Tech In Asia, Lalamove and other Startup-related pages. VeldmanHeather (talk) 05:36, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am not sure you read what I asked you to read. You keep talking about the edits; I'm talking about undisclosed paid editing--this is policy and not negotiable. Drmies (talk) 05:41, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am afraid that I believe you have a paid relationship with the subject of the Oddup article. Until you disclose this relationship we would be unable to unblock you. And even if you were to be unblocked you would be strongly discouraged from editing that article. Are there specific articles outside of this subject that you seek to edit? Can you provide me with example edits that you would like to make? SQLQuery me! 05:42, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmies @SQL I have read it and I said that I am not getting paid for editing this. I am not affilated now if that's what you are asking. I do have 1 question though, my previous edits from before was approved and today I only edited latest track records (which are news) and then I got blocked. I just don't get why? Please do check my edits for today and compared to a few months ago. VeldmanHeather (talk) 05:51, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So, you're only here to edit the Oddup article? @Drmies: has provided me with credible evidence that you have an undeclared paid relationship with this organization. Are there specific articles that don't relate in any way to oddup that you'd like to make? What changes in specific are those? Please read WP:PAID, as well as WP:COI, and comply with these rules. SQLQuery me! 05:57, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
[ed with SQL] VeldmanHeather, simply put, I do not believe that, but I cannot post my reasons on-wiki since they violate our privacy guidelines. I'll just say that I have found evidence of a paid position which explains your interest in editing this article. That is all that matters right now--again, the edits themselves are not interesting to me, though I will note that your first revert of my edits wasn't OK either; for instance, inline URLs are spammy and we discourage them. Drmies (talk) 05:58, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmies @SQL I am still within the Startup space so my plan is create more pages on the rest of the startup landscape and I am aware of the PAID and COI rules and will comply. I understand the online URLs and wiki discourages them now (but all I did was revert to the original content because I was editing at the same time and I thought it was an error so that's why I reverted. I didn't know it was regarded/flagged as spammy at the time.). VeldmanHeather (talk) 06:02, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As Drmies said, per our privacy policy I cannot reveal the link without violating your privacy, but there is no question you have a paid relationship with Oddup. For the third time I ask - what articles unrelated to Oddup to you intend to edit? Can you tell me some edits you intend to perform? SQLQuery me! 06:22, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@SQLAs a matter of fact, I no longer have a company email with them and you may check with them. However, I do have a question. Does it still count towards affiliation as it is not employment anymore? All the editing I did today was to add in some facts I found on their Facebook page so if you are referring to paid editing, I can confirm it is a NO. In regards to other articles I am wanting to edit (I mentioned this earlier post actually). Tech In Asia would be my next edit. Lalamove is another I am looking to create.

@VeldmanHeather: Stop being evasive and wasting our time. If your next edit here is not a clear and unambiguous disclosure of your connection with Oddup, or a retraction of your unblock request, I will decline the request and I will remove your ability to edit this talk page.
