Rogue Editing

Yep I too am aggravated by biased and unilateral edits by User:"Xingdong",his citations almost always come from Maxwell or China-daily and he has an habit of reverting edits without proper citations. What we can do about it ? Well the best possible reply is to complete the article with proper unbiased references. That is what rogue editors hate most. And I think you are on right track.Just keep on making edits in good faith and be assured that community will support you. Keep up the good work.

Hmmm... I wonder.

I wonder if you and user GSMR are one and the same... Let's try to find out By78 (talk) 23:51, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

I have removed your messages from User:By78's talk page, since I don't think mocking an editor for being blocked is a good idea. We should remember that this is not a battlefield or schoolyard, and act with civility and decorum, while building the encyclopedia. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 17:43, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Baffling accusation

I'm pretty baffled at your accusation that I don't like a particular country and am actually offended by this. First of all the for the trillion dollar club, I took note of your arrangement by alphabetical order. However, the list is in chronological order and after I checked the IMF source I noticed that the way it was arranged before appeared to be based on which country reached a trillion dollar economy first. Does this make sense?

Secondly, with regard to your suggestions about my revert, they were based on reverting confirmed socks. A couple of other editors have also been working with me to revert, block and ignore a particularly egregious sock User:Mrpontiac1 who keeps on hopping on different IPs and creating new accounts every so often. I entreat you to review his case page to see his past behavior. Hopefully this is clear, but it if is not I can elaborate future. Best, Nirvana888 (talk) 21:54, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure if you familiar with assume good faith and civility but I am offended by your aggressive posturing. It would do well to keep a cool head. Now, as I have stated I have quickly reverted confirmed socks based on a policy of revert, block and ignore. It does not really matter what their edit was about since they weren't supposed to edit in the first place. You are welcome to reconsider the revert if you wish. I apologize if it was not necessary but a polite note on my talk page letting me know would have sufficed not some aggressive grandstanding. I have reverting edits that were biased against India in the past just as I have revert edits that were POV regarding US, UK, China, Brazil, Pakistan etc. I would hope that you would retract the original accusation. Nirvana888 (talk) 23:17, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
"I'm sure you understand the importance of not subtly introducing your own POV into an article just because you may not personally like a country." - Maybe I misread you but I personally see this as unfair accusation displaying bad faith. If you agree please strike out those accusations. You also left a quite flippant edit comment using caps which did not even address the reason for my revert. [1] I am also dismayed because I have had productive collaborations with a few editors from that country one of which awarded me a barnstar. I would hope that you could be one of those other productive editors (assuming you hail from there as well). Nirvana888 (talk) 23:51, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Articles I'm working on

I'm currently working on the articles User:GSMR/Devanagari ligatures and User:GSMR/Persian influence on Indian languages. If you have any content you would like to add while I work on it, please feel free to help me! GSMR (talk) 17:41, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Woohoo!

He's indef-blocked! Wikipedia is free of distruption now! GSMR (talk) 22:01, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Well, I've used Youtube's /safety_help URL to clean YouTube up too. That was fun :-) GSMR (talk) 19:23, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Agni III status

You have twice reverted my edit from Agni III back to Agni II as defining the range of India's nuclear-capable systems. Since the Agni III has yet to be deployed operationally, it seems to me that the Agni II is the appropriate basis for defining this range. You seem to disagree. Why? How do edits such as this help to improve the Encyclopedia? This kind of baiting of a blocked editor does no-one any good.Nigel Ish (talk) 00:33, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I think. User:Ao333 is also a sock of the same user. I am adding this user to the list. Thanks. Shovon (talk) 18:25, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
