DYK nomination of Exometeorology

[edit]

Hello! Your submission of Exometeorology at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) at your nomination's entry and respond there at your earliest convenience. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! BlueMoonset (talk) 18:42, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Varmint256, it has been a full month since you last posted to this nomination—indeed, that was your most recent edit on Wikipedia—and you haven't yet addressed the issues raised in the review. It looks like the nomination will be marked for closure as unsuccessful very soon; if you wish this "Did you know" to appear, you need to do the necessary work immediately. Best of luck. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:42, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello BlueMoonset, thank you for letting me know. I have certainly not forgotten about the article and the extended timeframe y'all have granted for verification; thank you for allowing so much time. I will try to verify the last statement by tonight, although I am still unsure how to prove that meteorological variations require an atmosphere. Again, thank you for the extended time, but if you need to close the nomination soon, I understand. Varmint256 (talk) 23:26, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@BlueMoonset: Hello again. I attempted to fix the last citation needed tag; just waiting on the original reviewers' opinions. Thanks for the push to complete it! Varmint256 (talk) 00:36, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Exometeorology

[edit]

On 26 July 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Exometeorology, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the weather forecast for HD 189733 b (pictured) is "Westerly winds at 2000 m/s, with molten glass showers"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Exometeorology. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Exometeorology), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi, I just wanted to come by and congratulate you on one of the best DYKs I've seen in years. Viriditas (talk) 09:47, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much! Though I need to credit RoySmith, who came up with the great displayed hook, and everyone else who helped review it too! Varmint256 (talk) 17:30, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm always interested in how the sausage is made. I couldn't find where RoySmith helped contribute to the hook. Viriditas (talk) 02:05, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
