I am being paid to edit a Wikipedia page of a living person. I want to abide by Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest guidelines and would greatly appreciate any help in avoiding pitfalls. Thanks!

- @Varblues69: Hi there. You should carefully read the guideline here before proceeding to edit any article where you are being paid to do so. You should also disclose the connection when using talkpages, making edit requests etc. If you need any further assistance please give me a shout. Cheers, Philg88 ♦talk 08:59, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

Paid editing disclosure
[edit]While we appreciate your disclosure, Section 4 of the Terms of Use set forth by the Wikimedia Foundation (the organization that manages Wikipedia and affiliated projects) require that you not only disclose the fact that you are being paid, but who is paying you. The FAQ on paid contributions reflects this. This is a fairly new requirement actually, but it's important. Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 18:51, 4 September 2014 (UTC)
