My name is Donny Van Slee and I am writing an autobiography because I'm a professional musician and people are curious to know who I am. I need help publishing my autobiography. TheThis is what I have.

Donny Van Slee was born on January 12, 1993 in Hialeah, Florida. He was raised in Hollywood Florida, where his father, Andre Van Slee, and mother, Jodi Van Slee, provided him with a fantastic childhood. He first started to realize his love for music in preschool where music time was the best part of the day. Once in Elementary school, he sung in chorus, played the introduction of “Für Elise” by Beethoven on the keyboard in his 3rd grade talent show, and sung “I Want Candy” by Aaron Carter in his 4th grade talent show. He went on to graduate from Oakridge Elementary in 2003.

In 2004, Donny's parents bought him his first acoustic guitar and he has been playing ever since. That same year, Donny learned his first song, "Free Falling by Tom Petty. He was inspired to learn this song due to the fact that his mother, Jodi Van Slee, was a huge Tom Petty fan. In 2006, Donny moved with his family to Weeki Wachee, Florida. There, he went on to graduate from West Hernando Middle School in 2007, and Central High School in 2011. While in high school, Donny fell in love with a girl for the first time, which inspired him to write his first song, “Here For Awhile.” Donny has written many more song since then, including his favorite song, “For You,” written in 2016. Donny wrote “For You” for his brother, the night before his brother’s wedding.

Once Donny graduated high school, he began to realize that there was a demand for acoustic guitar/singers on the West Coast of Florida; therefore, he practiced, harder than ever before, to master the songs he already learned and wrote. In 2013, Donny had his first paid show at a local hookah lounge, called Euphoria Emporium Hookah Cafe. At that time, Donny still worked other jobs in order to support himself. In 2015, Donny finally quit his current job to pursue his music, full-time. He now performs on a regular basis at local restaurants, breweries, and private parties (weddings, corporate shows, birthday parties, retirement parties, etc.). Places including Zig Zag Scallop, Upper Deck Cafe, The Cove, Tropical Grille, Rum River, Monte Magill’s, Bayport Inn, Rising Sun Bistro, Marker 48 Brewing, Crackers, Margarita Breeze, The Florida Cracker Tap Room, and the Golden Ocala County Club are all public venues where he has made appearance. He has been the main entertainment for private parties, corporate parties, and weddings for Presidents and regional managers of large corporations like E-One and Rockstar Energy Drinks.

The singer-songwriter who has the most influence on Donny's music is Jack Johnson. Other influences of Donny’s music include the Beatles and other musicians who are on Jack Johnson's music label, Brushfire Records.

Donny’s main goal in life is to live in God’s will and continue to build his music career to the point where he can comfortably support a family.
