Delta function (disambiguation)

[edit]

Vanished, I'm curious about your purpose in re-creating this page after it was speedily deleted. How do you expect it will be used? The two target pages point directly at each other, and no one is going to enter Delta function (disambiguation) as a search term. RockMagnetist (talk) 14:34, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You King and Country

[edit]

Hi, Please put the song title back to Pelham as there are two identical songs with different writers. Please wait for me to finish my work. Please leave me some space to finish my work. I was in the middle of creating links between 3 songs with similar names to avoid confusion. There was no need to jump in and create potentially more confusion when I was in the middle of my work! Etiquette between editors on Wikipedia needs to be better than this. Why did you not talk to me - I have talk page too? I am seriously unimpressed! One song will now have to be renamed again for consistency.Richard J Myers (talk)

A page you started (High School U.S.A. (disambiguation)) has been reviewed!

[edit]

Thanks for creating High School U.S.A. (disambiguation), Vanished user 987234!

Wikipedia editor Dr. Kadzi just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Please be sure to add actual High Schools. Thanks!

RFCN Discussion

[edit]

Hello, Vanished_user_987234. Concerns have been raised that your username may be incompatible with policy. You can contribute to the discussion about it at the page for requests for comment on usernames. Alternatively, if you agree that your username may be problematic and are willing to change it, it is possible for you to keep your present contributions history under a new name. Simply request a new name at Wikipedia:Changing username following the guidelines on that page, rather than creating a whole new account. Thank you. This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Vanished user 987234, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:28, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I can't imagine you were not perfectly aware of this, but just for the sake of clarity, the problem is that your username seems intended to imply you are a returning user who underwent a courtesy vanishing. There is a unanimous consensus in the discussion linked in the previous thread that this is not acceptable. You are welcome to simply create a new account if you do not wish to rename this account. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:31, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing.

A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- Tavix (talk) 02:09, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
