Minhas contribuições

[edit]

Travunia 21:33, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Minha página

[edit]

Só coloquei algumas coisas...ainda não ajeitei direito minha página, depois eu vejo isso, quero organizar essas userboxes que estão meio zoneadas. Travunia 20:56, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use

[edit]

Hi! Sorry, I'm terribly late answering you. I also get annoyed because of all these copyright laws that are so complicated and strict. Unfortunately, any images on Wikipedia can be used by anyone, so if an image infringes a copyright law, it's a serious issue. I'd really like to help about these 50 year old images, but i'm afraid that as long as there's rule that's against their use, there isn't much we can do. If you have the time you might want to modify them so that they are no longer recognisable and put them up as "own work". Other than that, I don't think you can do much. Keep me posted if you upload any news pics, I'll see what I can do. But a law is a law, however stupid it may seem (dura lex, sed lex!). Take care, IronChris | (talk) 12:08, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quinta-feira no lab vc me ajuda a desvendar os mistérios dessa "coisa"! rsrsrsrs... já estou lendo os artigos ok?

Adriano da Gama Kury

[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Adriano da Gama Kury, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Stellatomailing 21:52, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! Is this the article you were referring to in your comment on Wikipedia talk:Deletion policy? If so, I can restore a copy of it into a subpage of your User area, if you think you add reliable sources attesting to the notability of the subject. --Stormie 05:16, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again! I really don't feel qualified to offer an opinion as to the significance of Adriano da Gama Kury, I could not be less knowledgeable about Brazilian Portuguese grammar. :-) I'm not entirely sure why it was tagged as unreferenced, though, since you provided details of a book used as a reference for the article. Anyway, I have restore the last version of the article prior to it being tagged for deletion into User:Vae victis/Adriano da Gama Kury, if you'd like to do some work on it and move it back into main article space. --Stormie 01:31, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that the linguist Adriano da Gama Kury is probably notable, but the article about him suffered from lack of sources, and the article had been tagged for six months, so there was plenty of notice of the problem. If the only sources that can be provided are in Portuguese then we might need to grudgingly keep the article, but there will be no realistic hope that other editors on the English Wikipedia can maintain it or improve it. Moreover the only item that was shown under References looked like a festschrift, which seems unlikely to provide a source for routine biographical details. At this point even a link to an academic web site about him (of a university, for example), even in Portuguese, would be better than what we have. Since I originally dug up the ISBN for the festschift I know the difficulty of this research. I would like to see the sourcing problem addressed before the article is returned to main space. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Vecanoi.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Vecanoi.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:06, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Lilith shinma.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Lilith shinma.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:51, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Southadrik.jpg

[edit]
File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Southadrik.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 01:03, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:10, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
