Hello, Vada.amerson, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Peer Review

[edit]

Hey, Vada! I see you have been working on your article a bit over the past couple of weeks. You're off to a great start! It's always good to check all of the sources. Making sure those work is a pretty important part of what we use Wikipedia for. While we may not cite Wikipedia as a source, it can lead us to the information we need, so making sure those links work is a great idea. I'll be back to leave more comments as more work is done, but you're off to a great start! Hthrxlynn (talk) 06:10, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Hthrxlynn: Thank you so much! It's nice to know that I am doing a good job, and thank you for your helpful tips! Vada.amerson (talk) 00:31, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DYK

[edit]

Hi! I saw that you nominated the article on participatory culture for Did You Know, however I wanted to let you know that this article isn't currently eligible for this. In order to be eligible it would have to have been expanded five times its current size. There are also other issues in the article that would prevent it from achieving DYK status as well, other than it not being expanded as the article is meant to be free of any major issues before going through DYK. As such, I've removed the new DYK nomination. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:18, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I wanted to say thank you for your response, and I understood why the article wasn't nominated. Vada.amerson (talk) 16:54, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Check In

[edit]

This is just a check in to see how your project editing is going. You should be well under way editing your project article. It appears you have made some changes, mostly clean-up. Please check MOS:SECTIONCAPS. When will you begin with your writing? Please give me an update. If you need assistance, let me know on my talk page. —Grlucas (talk) 11:53, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Dr. Lucas, I have started writing in the "Participatory Culture" article, the heading where it saids, "Concerns For Online Platforms, I wrote that small paragraph, and I plan on writing some more in that paragragh. And I already started fixing some of the references at the bottom where there was no link, and I fixed some of that. Vada.amerson (talk) 16:51, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
