Machida changes
all im asking is you guys sort it out and get rid of the bias.
mma is a quasi sport, with a strong commercial and artistic influence, from the largest org, and dana white. the forums are full of shills, and the whole thing is a sham to an extent. the bottom line is there is no service done to truth, in perpetuating the opinions of people like dana, who are irrelevant to decisions and who have no authority, and a vested interest in designed product. dana is bullshit. the shill fake journalists are bullshit. the american popular redneck fans are bullshit. whats real is the event, the scorecard, the judges decision, the weights, etc.
its easy to post a ton of sources that refute the passage of machida vs davis as it has stood, but i shouldnt have to. the whole thing should be in a neutral perspective and not trade on bullshit such as danas opinion, 13/13 sites that dont include espn, fight metric being used to justify the assertion that machida outstruck davis (davis landed more blows in the crucial first two rounds), fight metric being used to assert efficiency (no justification is given in the link, just a button promising to do so, which yields nothing). this whole passage of davis vs machida is biased, and subject to the same rampant and ignorant waffle, masquerading as fact, as a mma forum. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.101.41.108 (talk) 22:05, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
- Hello there, you deleted a lot of properly sourced content replacing it with an unsourced, biased comment. That's why I reverted you. If you can be civil, please take it to the talk page. Thank you! Vacation9 22:09, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
its factually inaccurate, and biased. it shouldn't be presented like it is, or populated with unsubstantiated, biased assertions as it is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.101.41.108 (talk) 22:37, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
ps - i dont need new articles, as the articles cited dont add up to the article on wikipedia. there are many simple and obvious issues and problems with the way the thing is typed out. by all means meet me on the talk pages, and explain how 13/13 outlets had machida, but espn does not. explain how dana f white is a neutral or relevant authority on mma judging, or how davis had no significant offence, and machida blocked takedowns, when davis takedowns and gnp is scored and machidas tdd is not. these are facts, not opinion. if you want me to cite the unified rules, and dana white litany of bs--- i will happily do so. thanks. 77.101.41.108 (talk) 22:52, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

Australian International Airshow
Hi Vacation9,
Re the changes I mad to he Australian International Airshow page, but were deleted by you.
I was asked by the organisers of the airshow to update the page with the history of the 2013 show.
This adds to the history already there, from 2002-2011.
The 2015 entry gives important dates and themes for the next event.
Could you re-instate the entries please?
regards

David Price baseball player
Vacation9, hey bud, I made changes to the David Price baseball player page, but you changed it back for some unknown reason, which I think is a mistake, the info I provided is some pretty factual information, if you want, I can provde a link for it — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.29.2.114 (talk) 14:14, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- @108.29.2.114: I reverted that edit because "got his butt kicked" is not language suitable for an encyclopedia. "Was defeated by" or similar would be much less biased and read more professionally. Thanks! Vacation9 14:36, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

Iron Man (2008 film)
Vacation9,
My reason for editing is there's been lots of confusion on the Elon Musk involvement matter with the actual movie.
Some novice editors in the media are repeating info from the Wikipedia Iron Man 2008 page interpreting it as the Movie being based on Elon Musk actually, not Tony Stark the comics.
Elon's involvement was to offer SpaceX's location for filming the Hammer Drones being built by the Russian villain. (The all White location). For that he was offered a cameo, that cameo is being interpreted as a confirmation for the above mentioned misinformation. Favreau himself, the movie director, is confirming that here. (https://twitter.com/Jon_Favreau/status/12546669014941696)
As you can notice in many of those article's comments, many comics and movies fans comment complaining of the same error and trying to correct the media that in fact the movie is based on Tony Stark, the comics character, drunken billionaire Playboy who built suits.
That comics character and its story was created of course before Elon was born, by Stan Lee, creator of Spiderman, as well.
Tony Stark was based on Howard Hughes, a billionaire womanizer who built and flew planes and was a big movie producer too, notice the Howard Stark name being chosen for Tony's father too as homage.
You can find all of this info relating to the Comics Character and its origins on the Iron Man comics page or Marvel's websites.
I think it's not just misinformation but offensive to Stan Lee being the father of those Movies' stories.
A better mention would be to remove this from the 2008 page and add it to the Iron Man 2 page, saying that the Hammer Industries facilities were filmed at SpaceX, for which Elon was also offered a cameo in the movie.

IP edits on Iron Man (2008 film)
Hey Vacation. That IP has been trying to argue that Elon Musk was not an inspiration for the character Tony Stark, but they are failing to read the sentence and the source to see that it is stating that Favreau and Downey just looked to him to help shape the on screen characterization of the character. If you continue to help with the pending edits for the page, that is the situation. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:30, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
