Referencing requirements for biographies

[edit]

Hi. I've removed your addition to the article James Deen as well as the listing at the disambiguation page. In accordance with our policy on biographies, material added about living people needs to conform to a high standard of sourcing. In order for us to publish this information, we need a reliable source. If this can be verified by a reliable source, it may certainly be appropriate to include, but please do not restore it without one, as it will have to be removed. If you do have a reliable source, it may still be inappropriate for inclusion based on WP:BLPPRIVACY. For security reasons, "Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object." Please consider this as well before restoring this content and, if you are unsure, consider asking at the biographies of living persons noticeboard. Thanks. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:13, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/AlexLevyOne for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. JohnInDC (talk) 14:35, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
