Hello, VBenz. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Emmy Pérez, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Emmy Pérez to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

  • Hi! Elysia (Wiki Ed) is off for the day, but I wanted to give you some feedback on the article so you can help keep it from getting deleted. I've done some formatting to the article under my main account and the main thing to note with the changes is that citations should be formatted as in-line citations. There are directions on that here, as well as some in your training modules.
In any case, in order to keep the article from being deleted you will need to add reliable sourcing that is secondary - the sourcing in the article is primary, meaning that it was released by Pérez or a person or organization affiliated with her. You can use it to back up basic details, but it can't show notability. The type of sourcing the article needs are things like reviews or coverage in academic or scholarly books or journals, as well as newspaper coverage. Some websites can be seen as reliable sources depending on the site and the type of source. Something like this is OK, but of course the academic and scholarly sourcing will be the strongest. Ways to improve Emmy Pérez

[edit]

Hello, VBenz,

Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for creating Emmy Pérez! I edit here too, under the username Rosguill and it's nice to meet you:-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

The article needs more citations to coverage of the subject or her work in reliable sources that are independent of the subject in order to demonstrate its notability. For more information on other ways to demonstrate notability, see WP:NBIO.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.
