Vertebral artery dissection

[edit]

Regarding this edit, I am completely unclear what was wrong with the way I cited the conclusions of exactly the same systematic review. In general, it is not necessary to state the methodology of your source. You also undid the citation template that I applied to the citation.

Could you clarify your edits on the talkpage, or alternatively give a more comprehensive edit summary when making changes to edits recently performed by others? JFW | T@lk 18:44, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message on my talkpage. I have now fixed up most of the citation templates (hope the link was helpful) so no worries about that.
With regards to the conclusions of Rubinstein's systematic review, I was prepared to cite the strongest associations identified in their paper. At the moment we are implying that the associations don't exist because many of the reports have weaknesses, but that seems to be the wrong conclusion to draw from their writing.
I have been reading the Kim & Shulman review, and it seems to be the most comprehensive. Provided my shift is not too busy I will probably be expanding the article with information from that paper. JFW | T@lk 22:03, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia can be complicated, and WP:WPMED is a good place to for editors working on medicine-related articles to ask questions and share information. WhatamIdoing (talk) 22:23, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
