By the way, this won't be deleted because we are using a user page.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Uuxer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. GB fan 12:09, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because I am not using an article and I'm using a user page here and the wikipedia was the one that told me that if you want to have your own biography, you can have your own user page and I did, why does it have to be deleted? And I'm not using this as an advertise, I'm just using this to place the history of the group. Even User:Lieann mons17 is not deleted even though this page is even more notable. The group is User:Uuxer not Uuxer.--Uuxer (talk) 12:12, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You should read the guideline on Userpages. It basically says that userpages are for collaboration about Wikipedia. Your userpage is to advertise your band. You need to start a website at a [free web hosting] service. GB fan 12:19, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The band already have a website, but it is still in progress. --Uuxer (talk) 12:20, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at User:Uuxer

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from User:Uuxer. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willingly to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 12:26, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because the reason I removing the speedy deletion tag because it says - "If promotional content was simply added to an existing article, do not mark it for speedy deletion; consider marking it with the advert tag instead, or improving the article YOURSELF", and I do think that way so I deleted the tag and replaced it as advert--Uuxer (talk) 12:32, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You forgot to read this part of the tag, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. GB fan 12:43, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because if you think that this page is use as an advertisement, then what is the use of their blog and website? --Uuxer (talk) 12:41, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... I'm not the only one who created that, a professional writer also helped me. He didn't make it long and much unique because he doesn't know much about the band. --Uuxer (talk) 12:47, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. -- Ed (Edgar181) 12:47, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, you said that you are against the usernames that reprsents a group, then what will I do? The group's name has a User in it. Don't you get it, the band's name is User:Uuxer. If you think that why I created a new account? Look up there it just asked me to create another one. --KathleenDelaRosa (talk) 12:58, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
