- Hi! Just a note separate to the welcome message above - thanks for trying to update the 2023 European Games article. Although I reverted your edit, this was to save the preliminary list (I think it would be quite useful to have for now). I've since updated the article a bit more, including the edits you made. It'd be great if you want to stick around and help me on this page (it will probably need to get bigger as it gets nearer the Games), but remember to use your edit summaries to explain what you do. Thanks, Gazamp (talk) 19:03, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Supervivientes: Perdidos en Honduras (2021), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gerona. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Vandal Edition
[edit]Please, we know that you have not done so in bad faith, but we would appreciate it if you did not revert any edit on the MasterChef (Spanish TV series) and MasterChef Celebrity (Spanish TV series) page. This page is totally under control and free from any vandalism activity. Thank you very much for your understanding.
Jesús Ángel García In WR ?
[edit]According to the site of WA, Road to Tokyo, the 3rd Spanish qualified is Álvaro Martín (racewalker). Why do you change it with García? Thanks 🙏 also for the new order.--Arorae (talk) 13:05, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- You should reply here and not only revert (found here: https://www.rfea.es/sirfea/ficheros/comunicados/documentos/20214595046.pdf ). But RFEA should still confirm that to WA.--Arorae (talk) 13:22, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- You cannot just revert without any discussion first on the right page. Especially if you haven’t check the Road to Tokyo list. If you don’t agree if should put the No ref on each athlete. Please be fair,--Arorae (talk) 13:41, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
Stop changing my editions
[edit]Hi, Uruflick. I would like to ask you to do me a favour: stop reverting my editions on MasterChef cause it has a lot of work on its background and it is not a vandalised edition, vandalism is what you are doing reverting all the information I've added to that page. Please, stop.
- The article needs cleaning. The tables are messy and add nothing and the article doesnt follow the style of the different Masterchef shows here in Wikipedia. Otherwise, this is not the place to talk about it, there's the talk page for that.--Uruflick (talk) 20:09, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
Athletics qualification
[edit]dear User you have made many editions in the qualification lists of athletics. I am sure that you have done them in good faith but you do not give any kind of source or motive. You should because this list is connected to many other links that tou haven´t changed and based on WA Road to Tokyo mainly that doesn´t tell the same story --Arorae (talk) 22:48, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
- I made the changes based on the official entry lists (https://www.worldathletics.org/competitions/olympic-games/the-xxxii-olympic-games-athletics-7132391/athletes) released by World Athletics. Uruflick (talk) 11:17, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Spain at the 2023 European Games. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

"Turkey" vs. "Türkiye"
[edit]Hi! I saw you used the name "Türkiye" as the name of the country generally known in English as "Turkey" in your recent edit.
Q: Why don't you use the name Türkiye, the correct name for this country?
A: Because the English-language Wikipedia has a WP:COMMONNAME policy. We use names for countries and places that are the names commonly used for them in English, regardless of what official organizations use. Technically, this kind of name is known as an exonym. For example, we use the name Germany, instead of the native endonym Deutschland.
If or when that general English-language usage changes (as has happened in the past with place names such as Mumbai and Beijing), the same WP:COMMONNAME policy implies that the English-language Wikipedia will necessarily also follow suit. So far, that hasn't happened.
This has been discussed many times, with the same result every time because of the common name policy. If you'd like to discuss this further, please take it up at Talk:Turkey. However, for the reasons given above, there is currently a moratorium on further requests for name changes to the Turkey article until 1 December 2023. — The Anome (talk) 10:04, 20 June 2023 (UTC)

Wrong about ICF tie break rules
[edit]Easy mistake, given that the ICF rules can be complicated, but, if you did read them, you appeared to have erred. The higher ranked athlete in a semi-final round tie gets the higher ranking - the previous round is irrelevant. You can also see from the Inside the Games article that, indeed, the Swiss athlete secured an NOC quota for Paris. I hope you will correct your error. 208.68.20.28 (talk) 17:36, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
- But both athletes tied in the semifinal, thats why you have to look for the series results. Read the qualification pdf. In case of a tie the results in the previous rounds is what breaks the tie, and the spaniard ended before the swiss. Uruflick (talk) 17:56, 22 September 2023 (UTC)

Fencing at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Qualification
[edit]Wikipedia is not a WP:CRYSTAL Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 14:24, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Then delete almost every olympic qualification page. Cause a lot of the quoptas announced havent been yet confirmed by the NOCs or the federations yet they show. There are not more fencing events till the ranking closes. I don't get what the problem is. Uruflick (talk) 14:34, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Again, please read the linked page above. Your inclusion is WP:OR Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 15:34, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- It'sd not. Is mathematical. The same way the slalom canoeing quotas in the American preolympic appear although they havent been opfficialized yet. As I said, I don't know what your problem is. Uruflick (talk) 15:36, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- I will give you an opportunity to remove your edits. If you do not, I will take it to WP:ANI. "Mathematical" is still WP:OR. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 16:39, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

[edit]What am I assuming?? I am noting that the two female athletes who qualify for the legacy position should go there. Do you think they would turn that down so that they could use a PR that earns them no tour points? I don't get it?18abruce (talk) 19:42, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
