License tagging for Image:Looneypark.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Looneypark.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:06, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Australian national football team

[edit]

Unfortunately it's been a redirect to the Socceroos page for some time. I fought long and hard to have the disambiguation page at "Australian national football team", but failed. Feel free to raise it at talk:Australian national football team. I still support it being a disambiguation page. Grant | Talk 14:30, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding edits made to One-piece swimsuit

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Urgeback! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bangelfire\.com\/, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. Your image

I downloaded your image, flipped it 90 degrees, then reuploaded it. It should be fine now. Cheers. -- Longhair\talk 06:12, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The person who just refused me obviously has the right comments but has not listened to my reasons. He/she has accused me of sockpuppetry. I did say that this is a SHARED computer. This computer is used by the tennants in our apartment. When we learned sliat_1981 had blocked the whole copmputer for us we found out who it was and asked them to fix it. When this person was unable, they got us down. We made an attempt and told them to try again, so they were done at the same time. Thats is why they are similar. I have done nothing wrong and do not deserve this blocking as I have never ever breached any of wikipedia's rules and this blocking is giving me a bad name despite me never doing anything wrong. I was the one who asked sliat_1981 to fix it. That is rhe only sockpuppetry you refer to. We were on this computer trying to fix it as I am not letting sliat_1981 off until they fix what they have done to this computer for the rest of the tennants. One person should not ruin it for everyone. As you see by my registration, I have been here for a while and so has sliat_1981 and it is wquite unfair to block the whole address rather than the person doing the perpetrations

Decline reason:

Hi other admins. I don't understand what is going on. I apologize if i made "malformed" unblock requests. I really have no idea how this works. I also have no idea who Urgeback or Sliat are. I often use shared IP's at university and other places.--Bremskraft 14:26, 6 August 2007 (UTC) - This direct quote from one of the other users blocked by this autoblock says it all really, You can't even keep your story straight. Also, RebelAcademics & Ladeda76 appear to be affected. So, how many computers are you sharing exactly? How many people live in this house? I'm rather disturbed by the number of people who just happen to get caught up in this. If any of you want to get unblocked we better get an explanation quickly. — Spartaz Humbug! 22:49, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked Indefinitely

[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing as a result of Wikipedia:Suspected_sock_puppets/Bremskraft. All the accounts mentioned have been blocked and a proper explanation will be required before any of the accounts will be unblocked. Spartaz Humbug! 23:14, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

See below

Request handled by: Spartaz Humbug! 23:23, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I linked your case with Bremskraft because of two coincidences. Firstly, you made the same mistake with the unblock template at the same time as them and secondly, because your explanation of sharing a house was the same one that Bremskraft was using at the same time. However, 2 + 2 ≠ 4 as a Checkuser has confirmed to me that you are not on the same continent as Bremskraft and his socks. I am therefore lifting the block on your account. I am genuinely sorry for this mistake. This still leaves the problem of your housemate being blocked indefinitely for uploading bogus images. His block is not being lifted and he has continued to use your ip to edit wikipedia. The result is that it has been blocked and I suspect that you will continue to incur autoblocks as a result. I'm not sure what we can do about that but I have your page watchlisted and will watch out for unblock auto requests. Again, I am sorry that this misunderstanding has meant that you have been incorrectly blocked for this period but I hope that I have explained how it came about. Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Hi Urgeback!
We thank you for uploading Image:Lesurelandpic.jpg, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited AFL Rising Star, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Luke Jackson. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:58, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I replied and out my view. Try mentioning your own. Funny how if you don’t like an edit, you think you can revert it and “warn” anyone who disagrees with you then claim them of “warring.” Urgeback (talk) 17:11, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
