Several citations, from newspapers,journals and websites were employed but removed three times by others. How does one, as an urban revitalization expert among the top ten world-wide maintain the citations?

Assuming you are indeed Charles "Chuck" D'Aprix (otherwise you are obviously directly involved with this person), the guideline for autobiographies on Wikipedia is posted on WP:AUTO. It suggests that writing articles about yourself, or otherwise editing them to promote bias, etc., is a bad idea. See WP:NPOV for Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. Also, posting content on articles that is not directly related to the article's subject (such as adding information on this guy to Criticism of Wal-Mart) is bad because it strays from the article's subject and messes with its flow. For criteria on inclusion of people in general, see WP:BIO.

As far as the general manual of style goes, see WP:MOS. The citation style that I use is on WP:FN, see John Geisse for a sample biography article that I wrote. If citing from a book, check out WP:ISBN for ISBN usage (The Hometown Advantage is both a book and a website so when you refer to it use the ISBN to clarify, etc.).

If you have any more questions, please ask. My main argument against your previous contributions was notability, although now you have made it apparent that you might have indeed made valid citations. However, the style and unencyclopedic tone of your edits, as well as the sheer number of articles that you have added Charles D'Aprix to (see Special:Contributions/Dohertydot), have suggested that you are directly involved with him and have been using Wikipedia for advertising. There is also quite a difference between the possibility that the person himself could be notable enough for an article and edit warring using sockpuppets to insert his name and activities into any article remotely related. —Centrx→talk • 00:49, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
