Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia! We are often deluged by articles about people's garage bands, and unfortunately, we cannot accept all articles into Wikipedia because of vandalism and other concerns. On the Vijay Iyer article, please tell us why he is important. Any questions? Contact me. Regards, --unforgettableid | talk to me 10:58, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Familyalbum.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Familyalbum.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:38, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Romance

[edit]

Ha ha, very funny. Your "Mozart" edit at the Bad Romance article nearly gave me a heart attack. AceMyth (talk) 10:00, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Romance/Mozart

[edit]

It is very possible that your edits relating to "Bad Romance" and Mozart were made in good faith, as the claim has been promoted on the internet, apparently starting with a video which is shown at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=650r-bU7TNM. However, this is a joke, and the duet for cello and piano performed there was not by Mozart at all. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:41, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Block shortened

[edit]

In view of the evidence I agree that your edits do not constitute vandalism. You have, however, engaged in edit warring and therefore need some time to reflect on the guidelines for editing and responding to warnings. The block has been reduced to 24 hours.
