adding protection templates to unprotected pages
[edit]Hi - thanks for bringing the vandalism/unsourced information problems at Michael Hastings to our attention. I have semi-protected the article for three weeks and a bot will shortly add the page protection notice to the page, if it hasn't already done so.
However, in the future, please note that it's pretty pointless to place {{pp-vandalism}} on any unprotected page. Page protection can only be done by admins and bureaucrats; adding the template does not confer page protection. When an admin protects or unprotects a page, it's noted in the page history for future reference, but that isn't what protects the article. It's done at a page that non-admins can't see.
If you have questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks again for your participation in Wikipedia! :-) KrakatoaKatie 07:22, 22 June 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Steve Biko may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
- Lovedale for his political views, and his brother arrested for his alleged association with Poqo (now known as the [[Azanian People's Liberation Army]].<ref>{{cite web | url=http://books.google.com/

Proposed deletion of Lynn Coleman
[edit]The article Lynn Coleman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not yet notable as per WP:NPOL
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gbawden (talk) 16:39, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
