Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!Inner Earth 16:33, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Allan Lamport
[edit]I reverted your edits to the Allan Lamport article. I consider these edits to be of a controversial nature. Edits such as these need to be properly referenced in order to ensure that they are verifiable. EncyclopediaUpdaticus (talk) 23:37, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
I have added the direct reference to the Globe and Mail articles. If you like I can send you the entire article if the reference to the Globe and Mail article is still not considered sufficient verifiability.

Disambiguation link notification for June 28
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited The National (CBC), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page George McLean (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 15:34, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
There is a list of fill-in hosts in the article for The National (CBC), George McLean was the only host not to have a biographical page so I created one for him. The link was intended to link to his specific page. Unknownfte (talk) 16:39, 10 December 2012 (UTC)
