Re: Article

[edit]

Re your message: You can recreate the article, but it should be a redirect to the existing article at Chuck Norris, not a stand alone article. For example, the article name Carlos Ray Norris is a redirect. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 19:29, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: It was linked to the article, but not a redirect. I restored the article and changed it into a redirect. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 19:34, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Re your message: Not a problem. Sorry about deleting the article so quickly. There are a lot of Chuck Norris "facts" memes that get added to Wikipedia and I thought this was one of those. I should have checked a little further before deletion. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 19:47, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts of America)

[edit]

After a diligent search, I cannot verify that Gregory H. Johnson is a Nobel laureate. Please provide a reliable source. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 20:08, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I never made this edit. Please make sure of this before you say this.Uncertianperson (talk) 20:49, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of Eagle Scouts (Boy Scouts of America)

[edit]

There is no evidence that Chuck Norris is an Eagle Scout, so I have reverted your edits. You cannot use one article as a reference for another article; see WP:CIRCULAR. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 19:18, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you would easily look up the information you will see that he was in fact an Eagle Scout. For one, I know from personal experience from being in his troop. I had no need meantion that because it is irrelevant that I had that personal experience. There IS in FACT proof he is an eagle scout. I am not one of those Chuck Norris fans trying to make him look bigger. I am simply trying to add to wikipedia. Uncertianperson (talk) 19:26, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have done a diligent web search with no results that he is an Eagle Scout. His biography on his web site does not note any relationship with the BSA. The onus is on you to provide a reliable source. His autobiography is in the local library— I will check it out in a few days. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 20:15, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Syberlazer". The reason given for Syberlazer's block is: "Vandalism-only account".

Accept reason: As there is no apparent similarity in the editing between the 2 accounts, this appears valid. The autoblock appears to be lifted. If there are more issues, please make a new request - if vandalism recurs from this range, blocks may be re-applied: tell your "brother" to grow up (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:14, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What message are you getting? I can't see a block on you. Peridon (talk) 21:15, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
When I try to edit it tells me I have been blocked because of my brother logging in a few minutes before.Uncertianperson (talk) 21:22, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It might be interesting to know your brother's username. But please see WP:BROTHER... Peridon (talk) 21:24, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

His username is Syberlazer. It's not that he was on my account. It was that he was on his account that was blocked for "Vandalism-Only Account". He has lied multiple times enabling it to where his block appeals will never be appealed.Uncertianperson (talk) 21:35, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
