Thank you for your message on my talk page. I really didn't understand what the problem was, mainly because there was no talk page discussion. Rereading with your criticism in mind, I understand it now. 68.192.108.27 22:48, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Spshu
[edit]FYI...Spshu is up to his old tricks on the List of Avengers members article. I expect another confrontation with him on the talk page, but I thought I'd let you know, that he is childishly keeping track of every post that he disagrees with, on his user page at User:Spshu/Sandbox1. quotation marks
[edit]They are totally superfluous and most of the time they aren't added, like on youtube.. So I deleted them again. --David-bel (talk) 15:13, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- You can't really use youtube as a reason for not using quotation marks. It's like comparing apples and oranges. 1) In English writing style, song names are always put in quotation marks. 2) Wikipedia is meant to be a type of online "encyclopedia" and part of this is using the correct grammar and writing style, which this falls under. 3) Youtube doesn't title the videos. The uploaders do. It doesn't really mean anything on youtube because it isn't formal and Wikipedia tries to be as formal as it can be. 4) Have you looked a random page for a musical album? Guess what, every song is in quotation marks. The same thing applies here. I don't understand your rationale, if you delete the quotation marks here, wouldn't you have to go delete the quotation marks from every single song title in Wikipedia? 5) This is straight from the Wikipedia Manual of Style: "The term quotation in the material below also includes other uses of quotation marks such as those for titles of songs, chapters, episodes, unattributable aphorisms, literal strings, 'scare-quoted' passages, and constructed examples."Ultrabasurero (talk) 04:19, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Current Avengers roster
[edit]Hello Ultrabasurero! Just thought I'd let you know if you don't already, that there's a discussion on the talk page for the List of Avengers members article, regarding the best way to display who is currently an active member. Please consider adding your opinion to the discussion, so that we can come to a consensus, by replying under the "Current Roster" section. Thanks! Fortdj33 (talk) 13:11, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
Request for feedback on the List of X-Men members talk page
[edit]If you have time, your feedback is requested on the List of X-Men members talk page in the section about Other Status, X-Corporation, etc. We have massive sections of the page being removed, including things that have been debated and compromised on in the past, instead of being taken to the talk page first. Your thoughts would be appreciated. DeadpoolRP (talk) 15:00, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
