Andrew Picken, Andrew Douglas Picken
[edit]Can I be of some assistance with the article? First off, don't worry so much about the redirect at Andrew Picken. Redirects are just helpful things should people type in the wrong name. But going back to Andrew Douglas Picken, in one of your edit summaries, you claim that you wrote most of the article, but it is a word for word copy from A Short Biographical Dictionary of English Literature. Additionally, the aforementioned book refers to him as Andrew Picken, not Andrew Douglas Picken.
Either way, can you help establish why he is notable enough for inclusion in Wikipedia. The short bio does not look for notable to me. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:44, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Re your message: I've gone ahead and deleted the article and all of the various redirects since we agree that he was not particularly notable. I'm glad that you have decided to help out on Wikipedia. If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact me again. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:05, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
