A tag has been placed on SOUTH C NAIROBI, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bmg916 Speak to Me 17:44, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- If you want to contest the speedy deletion of the page, place the tag {{hangon}} onto the page. Then explain on the talk page for the article how/why you feel the subject is notable and the article isn't advertising. The article as it is written sounds more like an advertisement now than an encyclopedia article. It also does not establish how the subject of the article is notable. As for who I am, I do not divulge personal information over Wikipedia. Cheers, Bmg916 Speak to Me 17:59, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with SOUTH C NAIROBI. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Bmg916 Speak to Me 12:21, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Double rainbow captured from Hendon, North West London.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Double rainbow captured from Hendon, North West London.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 20:44, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
