Poptropica Criticism

[edit]

Hello, I'd like to tell you that the deletion of the criticism of Poptropica was really unnecessary. Articles need to be in a NPOV, a neutral point of view. I had added the criticism back. Please feel free to post something on my talk page to discuss this. Vltava 68 (talk) 22:45, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have been researching reviews on Poptropica and the negative criticism mentioned on the Poptropica wiki, is FALSE. Whoever wrote them is making up quotes, facts, and references. For example, I couldn't find ANY information on the existence of "The children's computer bi-weeky times." Also the quote, "'The New York entertainment weekly stats that it 'is safer then club penguin, but way more boring'" cannot be found on the page referenced. That referenced article just discusses a Sears Ad Campaign, and doesn't review any games. Therefore, I deleted these criticism due to them being purely false and opinions of some disgruntled user. If there is negative criticism about Poptropica, that is fine, but they should be "real" and correctly referenced. (Ugreen (talk) 14:49, 28 August 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Poptropica Maintenance

[edit]

Someone has deleted the categories and references for Poptropica. I added back the references, but I do not remember any of the categories.

Also, people are starting to consistently use the word "you" in that article. If I remember correctly, articles are to be written in a third person point of view, which does not include the word "you".

Could you help, maybe?

Should we ask for semi-protection again?

Please discuss on my talk page by adding a new section, unless there is already a new one at the bottom. Vltava 68 (talk, contribs) 09:12, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
