Mereja.com
[edit]If mereja.com is not a reliable source, here are 10 other articles you might want to check because they cite from there. Platonk (talk) 00:35, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks. Have you checked out the Second insurgency in Ogaden article? Don't think it should even be up since none of those sources call it a second insurgency. It's just a group with unknown traces joining a coalition that wants to overthrow the Ethiopian government. Ue3lman (talk) 18:19, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
- I checked all five sources. None use the words "second" or "insur". Perhaps nominate it for AfD as WP:OR. (Disclaimer: I didn't read the articles; just did a search for those two words.) There is so much WP:ADVOCACY going on in the topics related to Ethiopia. For my part, I have no opinions about "sides" of the various conflicts; I'm just trying to keep the articles tidied up. January 2022
[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! ☿ Apaugasma (talk ☉) 18:01, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
Thanks re: Ethiopia-Russia
[edit]The Wiki page for Ethiopia-Russia relations came up when I searched Eritrea-Russia relations. I didn't check the title of the article before editing it!! Cameron.coombe (talk) 01:01, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
- No problem. Ue3lman (talk) 03:26, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:44, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
Talk page archives
[edit]Hello, Ue3lman,
You have some strange talk page archive pages including one that is titled User_talk:Ue3lman/Archives/2022/January/Archives/2022/April/Archives/2022/July/Archives/2022/October. You might want to adjust any settings you have for bot archiving, rearrange your archived pages with more meaningful page titles and tag these far out pages for CSD U1 speedy deletion. I have already deleted some indices for this page and for ones that had even longer page titles (sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-infinity) that were blank pages. Here is the most recent one I found that had some content on it User:ClueBot III/Detailed Indices/User talk:Ue3lman/Archives/2022/January/Archives/2022/April/Archives/2022/July/Archives/2022/October. Sometimes Cluebot can run amok which I think it did when archiving your talk page.
Thanks, in advance, for taking the time to straighten this out because right now, some of your talk page archives are showing up on Database reports as errors. Liz Read! Talk! 21:24, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
- Looking at User:ClueBot III/Indices/User talk:Ue3lman/Archives/2022/January/Archives/2022/April/Archives/2022/July/Archives/2022/October, it looks like everything was fine until January 2022 and then ClueBot got confused. So, we are only talking about 2 or 3 pages that should be moved to more accurate page titles. If you did a page move, then no pages would need to be deleted. Liz Read! ReferenceExpander
[edit]Just a friendly heads-up in case you weren't already aware, since it's installed on your common.js: Careless use of ReferenceExpander has caused serious problems. It's currently at MFD, and a large cleanup project is underway to repair the citations damaged by the script. I and several other users have !voted that the script be deleted or disabled, and I wouldn't recommend using it at all unless you thoroughly check every reference it modifies against the previous revision. If you're interested in a more detailed explanation of the script's issues, Folly Mox has provided an excellent summary at the MFD. — SamX [talk · contribs] 05:14, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
