The first stab

[edit]

Uberhill: this is a good first stab at the article. There's a lot of little clean-ups that could be done, WP:MOS stuff and the like, but those are the sort of rough edges that will naturally be smoothed over by various editors putting hands on it. However, there is a more central problem, and that's notability. The Yoga Quest link is the firmest grounding on that, but even that is more a mention of an event that the club is hosting than it is talking about the club itself. Besides that as references, you had two links to what looks to be a self-published source, and thus not a valid WP:RS, and one to the history of another organization, thus not establishing any notability for this one. Were I to come across this page in my wikisurfing, I'd wonder whether it might be more appropriate to cover GPS as a couple of paragraph subsection of the CONvergence page. I don't have the time at the moment to seek out better refs, but I would suggest doing that before trying to move this into article space. --Nat Gertler (talk) 06:07, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Nat. Much of this I agree with, and what I don't I have a way to make clearer -- I know where burden of proof is. More to come, we'll get this to "ready". Thanks again! Uberhill 22:15, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

moving template

[edit]

Hello Uberhill. I moved the template so that your sandbox article would not show up in the fanbox article. As mentioned in my edit comment, I was not sure it would work. (Turns out it does, so I've learned something about editing.) This is not a big problem. Usually more experienced editors are looking at categories and they understand that sandbox articles sometimes show up. Still we like to keep things clean. --S.
