Zanhe (talk) 06:30, 19 February 2019 (UTC)Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Marketa Lazarová into Marketa Lazarová (soundtrack). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 01:36, 13 February 2020 (UTC)

The Girl from Beskydy Mountains moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, The Girl from Beskydy Mountains, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. -Liancetalk/contribs 15:24, 3 March 2020 (UTC)The article The Return of the Prodigal Son (1966 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
References not available. No significant coverage to meet the notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The9Man | (talk) 06:16, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Josef Auerbach and Julius Schmitt in Rome (1925).jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Josef Auerbach and Julius Schmitt in Rome (1925).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Barrandov logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Barrandov logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. (t · c) buidhe 00:41, 9 May 2023 (UTC)

- Funny that you had no problem with the original article horribly written and full of misinformation, but me editing it is a problem. You could have just added "citation needed" or "more sources needed" message, instead of removing the article. I will not be adding the sources, because I'm done with the article. I had plans to add more information later, but seeing there are people like you who destroy other people's edits, I have no interest now. Uajii (talk) 02:39, 18 October 2023 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Patrik Vydra
[edit]Hello Uajii, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Patrik Vydra, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Patrik Vydra.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~

- @North8000: Hello, I wanted to let you to know, that your actions are embarrassing. Patrik Vydra is a football player playing for the leading club of Czech Football League. He played in Europa League and for the U21 Czech National Team. If that's not notable enough, you should probably delete about 10,000 Wikipedia articles about various sportspeople, who are representing their countries at the highest level. You see, there are two types of people: Those, who create and those, who destroy. Guess to which category you belong to. A person from the first category would look at the article and if he found it insufficient he would try to improve it. Not you, though. You'd rather waste everyone's time by starting a debate, whether the article should be deleted. ~~~~ Uajii (talk) 03:46, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
- You have a mis-impression about what wp:notability is about....suggest reading WP:Notability . It's about having sources that cover him in depth. Your best course of action would be to find and include 1 or 2 or such sources which would settle the whole thing. Doing New Page Patrol job properly includes implementing that and sending articles that don't appear to meet that criteria for further review at AFD. And new page patrol consists of about 30 active reviewers trying to review about 600 new articles per day in their available wiki-minutes. And a part of the reason that it's only 30 is because of people like you flaming NPP reviewers for attempting to do their job properly. Sincerely, North8000 (talk) 14:08, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
