There is existence of Tipu missile

it was doubtful but now due to some reference from Pakistani defense forum it has been proved that there is a missile named Tipu in Pakistan which has a range of >7500 km Mustafa Ispahani (talk) 14:20, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

please go to this talk page to see full conversation :). Nicky mathew (talk) 15:08, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

@Mustafa Ispahani: Please consider giving me a reliable source for what you claim as Proved!! There is just a puny speculation in one/two forums about Tipu-II, doesn't mean that the existence of such a missile is proved. While even the existence of Tipu-I is speculated, how can you stress that a second variant exists? --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 17:22, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

The Village School for children page

hello - I recently did change some of the Village School for Children's page - I am currently employed by The Village School and am authorized to make changes to update the outdated content of this page in regards to our school.

If there is anything else I need to do in order to edit this page, please let me know! Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sreinthaler (talkcontribs) 20:04, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi @Sreinthaler: thanks for your contributions here in Wiki. Everyone is authorized to edit Wiki, however with some limitations. You removed some content (and is the site of the North Jersey center for training Montessori educators.) without explaining why in the edit summary. Please add a valid reason so others may understand your intentions. Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 20:09, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

I know this wasn't your mistake, you haven't been following us. Winkelvi WP:BAITs me and follows me around always extracting WP:REVENGE. This was essentially going to be a new start for me. Anyway, how is asking an admin to make an important decision based on their opinion and not some WP:BULLY's bad? All About That Bass (A word?? / Stalking not allowed...) 05:47, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi @MaranoFan: That's not the way how it works... You have simply asked the admins to IGNORE the comments, it's not fair to reply like that to some editor's comment! That's what the editor exactly mentioned about you! You work on your own way ignoring others, edit warring. Though that editor is following you all the way, I don't think that will fall into WP:REVENGE and WP:BULLY. From what I can see from your history (on a two minutes look) you are continuously engaged in Edit warring and violating WP:3RR for which you've been blocked for a month and for 24 hrs respectively. Not only you are troubled with Winkelvi but also with Chasewc91 and many more editors. You don't have a talk page archive (is that a way of hiding your mischief?) rather you just blank the contents with edit summaries, which on looking, was I Baffled! You have personally attacked those editors, which is entirely not acceptable. You have edit summaries like "You may be having a mental breakdown..., I don't care are I am just going to come right out and say it, "Chasewc91, you are", I utterly don't give a dump, Stop with the bullcrap" etc, which was your reply to the edit warnings given by Editors. Also, I have not asked the admins to base their decisions on the user's comment but on their own careful examination! You have paved me way for the careful examination of your history and you've earned my strong objection on becoming a Pending Changes Reviewer. With that tool you'll definitely not heed to anyone! You have to change your attitude before getting additional rights here... This discussion here, is over. It's now upto the Admins. Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 07:13, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
Oh my god, For all its worth, look at what they did before I left those edit summaries. All About That Bass (A word?? / Stalking not allowed...) 07:27, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
I've seen them thank you. "You may be having a mental breakdown..." for a level 4 warning on WP:EW?? There nothing to justify your act anymore, history is history. Please prove yourself in the coming time... Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 07:33, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

New

Please note that Chase is a good user and we have made our peace. Winkelvi is non-cooperative and refuses to move on. Also good to note, will be that Winkelvi bats a LOT of editors and however I am number 1 on that list. All About That Bass (A word?? / Stalking not allowed...) 07:45, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Yeah that's the reason you gave a reply to chase, "I don't care are I am just going to come right out and say it, "Chasewc91, you are"? If you think he bats you, why didn't you go to WP:ANI and get him out of your way? And can you give me an instance when Winkelvi was warned/taken to WP:ANI and warned? If you are number 1 on his watchlist, you might wanna go down in the ranking! Regards--JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 07:54, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
Stop throwing the past in my way. I have made peace with Chase but edit summaries are unfortunately undeletable. I just want to avoid Winkelvi, I don't really have any problem with him but he does. Why can't he just eave me. I will stop here. You can archie this too. All About That Bass (A word?? / Stalking not allowed...) 08:41, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

10:47:35, 20 April 2015 review of submission by Kongwu1993

Hi Jaaron95, would you please give some concrete examples of why the sources won't sustain notability? The wiki page for Prof. Voelpel has been rejected several times due to unreliable sources or non-notable sources. Since last rejection I've deleted most primary sources, provided with Zeit news, local media in Bremen, scholar citations, rankings, etc, as disinterested secondary sources. Is it because the sources are not famous enough? Please give me some concrete suggestions so I can improve and revise. Thanks a lot! :)

Kongwu1993 (talk) 10:47, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

Kongwu1993 (talk) 10:47, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi @Kongwu1993:, thank you for your contributions here in Wikipedia. And I see you created an article which was rejected by me, as the notability cannot be established. Those were the only two reliable sources I can find on the article to establish notability. But even in the two sources, the coverage of the subject is trivial. The subject should have a significant coverage. Here, the subject being a professor, is notable if he meets either of the 9 points mentioned in WP:NACADEMICS to establish notability. But I couldn't find a point that well suited the subject.. I really took a lot of time doing research work on the article (as it was really a worked out effort from you after multiple efforts from you), so as to find if I can establish notability, but I failed. I would suggest you to add the coverage by some reliable sources, with the coverage of the subject being significant. Or else, wait for some more time, so that the subject will happen to meet some other point in WP:NACADEMICS. Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 11:13, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi @Jaaron95:, thanks for your reply. As I was looking through WP:NACADEMICS, I've noticed that Prof. Voelpel would suffice for the 8th criteria as having made substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity. Therefore the last two paragraphs of the Work section were rephrased to demonstrate Prof. Voelpel's major achievements and paired them with some more reliable and hopefully notable sources. Would you be so kind to give it a quick re-review and see if it's ready for re-submission? Thanks a lot! :) --Kongwu1993 (talk) 18:41, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
Hi @Konwu1993: I think your article now fits point 7 of WP:NACADEMICS and there is a good chance of your article getting accepted. Submit it for review and in the meanwhile, please go through citing your sources and external links and improve your article! Good luck! You've done a MASS DESTRUCTION to my talk page ! Please don't do that again! Kindly go through how to use talk pages for your help. Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 02:25, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

Help

Hey Jaaron95, so you reviewed my article titled 1930s Economic Policy of Nazis vs. USSR. The main idea I was given on how to fix it was to make it not a comparitive of the two economics. My only problem is the point of the article is to compare the two economies. I am doing this wiki for one of my classes and that was the approved subject of my aritlce.

I realize this may not be possible but I was wondering if you had any suggestions on a better place for me to put this information? Any help at all would be appreciated.

Thanks,

DRDO page edit

Hi,

I was not advertising anything or violating any wikipedia policy while editing this post. Actual sonar name is "NAGIN" whereas in the given page which you-re edited it is "NAGAN". Hence my correction was correct. Also I appreciate your effort and proactiveness but request you to have more research while rejecting/re editing any change by other user then make the changes.

Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.241.119.242 (talk) 10:51, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi @121.241.119.242: Apologies! The warning was supposed to be given to 223.185.48.136(I've removed the warning from your page!).... Small confusion as the edits were all made by IPs. I didn't take time to look at each and every IP, thought all the edits were by the same IP.... This diff was the problem, not the first one. As reverting particular edits in between other edits is not possible, I restored the previous best version. There was nothing wrong with your edit as I acknowledge the name of the SONAR is 'NAGIN' and I did not reject your edit... However, I've renamed the SONAR's name as a courtesy. Thank you for notifying me. And please try to make it a habit of adding a clear edit summary while editing to avoid similar confusions. Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 12:49, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Thank you Jaaron95, I am sorry for the confusion which was caused by the IP, I could have used my username but I was reading through the article and found it incorrect so I corrected it in a hasty manner without logging in. Hi @67.84.119.148: thank you for your contributions here in Wiki. However, your edits in Last Rumba in Havana seems to be a test, 'cause you removed content from other heading and added it to the 'Notes' heading, which is irrelevant to the topic and hence I reverted it. I am not sure why you removed my addition to escrow. There is no copyright infringement on what I entered. What I copied and pasted is what I wrote up for the new real estate agents in our office. Dispute on Vikrant-class Aircraft carriers

Hi,I am here to clarify you about the role I wish to play as an editor in WIKIPEDIA. I wish to edit the articles so as to further strengthen its contents by adding valid citations, editing minor grammar mistakes but importantly, to review the info given in the pages match to facts. The facts which I mean are information from trusted public arena. As you said, wikipedia is not a place for propaganda, edit war, forum or a place to add ideas as I interpret. The problem in vikrant class was not the way I interpreted the facts, but the way to interpret the existing info. You said that after discussion from experienced editors, I still refused to it. But I took efforts to understand it. For example, 2 editors in Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions took time to understand my issue and replied only to that issue. One of them even suggested a solution.(See the question "Issue in interpreting "Planned"? "). I accept that I am not an experience editor. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT MY EDITS OR MY ISSUES ARE SILLY. So, I agreed to the consensus arrived because wikipedia states that no urgency in editing is needed. I don't mean that I Intend to start a row later on, but if some other editors also have the issue that I have now in future, then As you said a WP:ANI shall be requested to prevent any edit war or conflict of interest.M.srihari (talk) 16:22, 12 May 2015 (UTC)Srihari

  • "And then two new future aircraft carriers of an unknown design/class"
  • "in wikipedia you cannot add your original research or make educated guesses"
  • "The citation is wrong with falsified info.A phrase in it reads "Her sister, the INS Vishal, entered construction in July of 2012 with no commisioning year set as of now." But we have already settled that INS vishal is only planned. So I reverted The No. of carriers to unknown. I also request your help in Blacklisting "http://www.militaryfactory.com/" For containing Falsified info."
  • "you do not have any ciation saying no one knows how many carrier they are planning to have under vikrant class"
  • "he is editing on his own interest (to the glory of his country not maintaining WP:NPOV)."
  • " You need to stop adopting your own interpretation on the sources and read what they actually say, not what you would like them to say. "
  • "That may be true in some instances, but in most cases you are poised to start a new problem."

A mix of comments of other editors from the talk page. Some of them contain their own interpretation. Some of them took a stand then reverted and most of them are just direct personal attacks on me. I requested requested one editor in helping to blacklist a wrong info citing website. I place that request to you too because I am not familiar with it. And for that mention of final consensus, just like fact I meant only consensus nothing more or less. And for the statement regarding your attack on me, I didn't mean the statement

  • " 'you are not respecting Wiki guidelines or disruptive editor'" but this

  • "That may be true in some instances, but in most cases you are poised to start a new problems."

As stated before, my intention is not to create anarchy but just to have TRUE TRUSTED CORRECT INFO represented in wikipedia.M.srihari (talk) 16:40, 12 May 2015 (UTC)Srihari

@M.srihari: I can't understand what you are saying.. Please be concise, clear and specific.. Don't leave spaces as it makes the message look awkward.. P.S. I am not an Admin and hence cannot protect pages, blacklist websites and so on.. But I can recommend on your behalf if I think you have a good reason Regards--JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 17:00, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
@Jaaron95: Re-edited the previous comments.

"my intention is not to create anarchy but just to have TRUE TRUSTED CORRECT INFO represented in wikipedia." And for the reason to blacklist, please read the following article from the website completely and you can confirm that they contain dubious information. eg. It states INS Vishal is under construction since 2012. http://www.militaryfactory.com/ships/detail.asp?ship_id=INS-Vishal M.srihari (talk) 17:09, 12 May 2015 (UTC)Srihari

@M.srihari: Actually that's not a good reason to blacklist a website.. Read Wikipedia's guideline on black listing a website. Maybe don't use that article as a source? Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 17:30, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

I am trying to understand exactly where you feel this entry needs more clarification. There is an average of 2-3 footnotes per paragraph. This is especially puzzling given the fact that the entry on the person Brian replaced at the Space Council has no footnotes : http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Albrecht I would greatly appreciate any more specific guidance you might be able to give as to where you think additional citations are needed. Gaw54 (talk) 19:02, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi @Gaw54: you are doing great in your article. I cannot comment on an article which was created well before my presence here. However I can say, given the content, which is little, one source is okay (the source pretty much supports the article). Although there is a tag placed for more references in the article. In your article, kindly add add citations to the lead section (first paragraph) of the article. And after doing that, feel free to remove the tag there. You really have a great article (if not for your first one)! Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 19:20, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for your clarification and quick reply. I've added two citations to the first paragraph. Can you please clarify how I go about removing the tag? Gaw54 (talk) 21:28, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Image used

If you closely look at the image present in INS Arihant and dubious image in followon page, they both differ in no. of torpedo tubes. INS Aridhaman has 24 and arihant 12. The image used in followon page is thus used by various internet media to describe INS Aridhaman. But the image that is already present in INS Aridhaman "page" in wiki is said as another CGI of INS Arihant. That is why I request you to check this and if you accept it then edit the sameM.srihari (talk) 20:27, 12 May 2015 (UTC)Srihari

Request on 16:07:48, 14 May 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by Katerueang

Thank you for reviewing my article. However, my article on the North Korean Defectors in Thailand has been deleted due to the ambiguous copyrighted infringement. I would like to know if this is due to the copying of content, close paraphrasing, or does it have something to do with the source that I was using. Also, would it be possible to restore the page that I have created? That way, I can then edit it. This is a part of my university assignment. So if you could clarify more of what I should do, I would really appreciate it. Thank you! Katerueang (talk) 16:07, 14 May 2015 (UTC)+

Hello @Katerueang: thanks for your contributions here in Wiki. However Copyrighted information from other websites cannot be accepted. Yes, the copyright violation is due to copying of content/close paraphrasing from non-free content websites. It has nothing to do with the sources you added. In fact adding sources is essential for an article, without which your article would be declined. The problem is, you should write the article in your own words, rather than copying and pasting. Unfortunately, a deleted page cannot be restored.. You have to recreate it. Sorry! And good luck on your Assignment. Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 16:21, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

Mincemeat

Enough! All I did was restore the spelling in the 16th-century recipe to the original spelling as used in the source cited. Please make sure you know what you're talking about next time you accuse someone of vandalism! PepperBeast (talk) 20:20, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello @Pepperbeast:: Please calm down and do not continuously revert which will result in a block. A 16th century recipe doesn't mean the 16th century spellings should be used.. As an encyclopedia, everyone in the world should be able to read it. I've AGF reverted your edit and I'd recommend you to go to the talk page and get a consensus before making such edits which will otherwise be continuously reverted. Thanks for your cooperation. Regards. --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 20:30, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
Could you please actually look at the history of the article? The original spellings have been in place as a direct quote from a source along with a modern interpretation since the source was added to the article in 2007. There is no need to "modernise" the spelling, as a modern version has already been provided. PepperBeast (talk) 20:40, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
@Pepperbeast: That's exactly why I requested you to go to the article's talk page. Regards--JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 20:43, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
Jaaron, you are the person trying to change the article. I am the person trying to have it left alone unless another rationale appears. If you want to change the spelling to modern, then I suggest you take it to the talk page. PepperBeast (talk) 20:47, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
@Pepperbeast: You sure about that? 'cause I can see JaconaFrere also has reverted your edit..! Regards. --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 21:31, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
Yes, I am sure. I am sure because I inserted the material myself in 2007 and have been monitoring the article since then. JaconaFrere got involved when an IP-user changed the spelling and removed a bit of vandalism to the article in the same edit. I reverted the spelling but failed to notice the vandalism, so reverted that as well. Then JaconaFrere reverted my revert, noticing the vandalism (but presumably unaware of the spelling issue). Finally (or, so I thought), I restored the original spelling. Then you got involved. If you had looked at older versions of the article, you would be aware of most of this. PepperBeast (talk) 21:59, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
Yes, it's a bit of a mess, Pepper is in good faith; the situation is as pepper describes. Sorry if I contributed to any confusion. I appreciate both of your efforts, you are good editors! Jacona (talk) 00:00, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
Thank you, Jacona. PepperBeast (talk) 02:59, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
Well, apologies Pepperbeast , and thanks for the information JaconaFrere. Cheers!--JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 06:46, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

Dispute on Supercarriers

A dispute is getting into hot edit war. It seems the editor doen't wish to discuss at all. Please intervene or semi protect if you wish. M.srihari (talk) 16:22, 12 May 2015 (UTC)Srihari

I recently checked the page and came to notice that the use Nick Thorne has completely deleted a section "Proposed Supercarriers" after havinf discussions only with other user. The user was already warned for making changes in this section without discussion . It seems that it is a revenge edit as this section of supercarriers was the reason for our previous edit conflict. I request you to intervene and take a rightful decision.M.srihari (talk) 17:08, 18 May 2015 (UTC)Srihari

The dispute is getting troublesome again. Anothe uset BilCat with whom I had previous conflicts has come into play. This is getting into a Edit war between a group of users and I myself. I request you to please intervene.M.srihari (talk) 17:20, 18 May 2015 (UTC)Srihari

@M.srihari: As I said earlier do not simply revert the edits before getting consensus from other editors.. Please read WP:3RR. When you are not satisfied by other editors' opinions/consensus, please start a case at WP:DRN, where editors who are not involved in the dispute will/will try to resolve the issue by addressing both the party's concerns. Personally, I'd advise you to go easy on experienced editors, 'cause they are 'experienced' and are well aware of the policies here which you don't. So, wait for some more time to gain experience. And as you've been warring previously, editors won't even take your point into consideration, stamping your statements wrong even if you are right (that's nature). So, leave the issue and explore Wiki. There are a lot of other things to do here. Happy Editing, --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 18:25, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for expressing your views. I agree about your views on experienced editors and I will see that I don't get into any conflict in future about any edits.M.srihari (talk) 20:11, 18 May 2015 (UTC)Srihari

Dear Jaaron95,

Thank you for coming back to me, indicating suitable citations are needed for the edit I submitted about Andrew Tesoriere (which expands and updates the entry).

I have since added bona fide citations (sources) to reference the additions.

You will be able to view these, I believe, within the view history stub.

I hope you will be able to review the entire new entry and approve it for release.

With best wishes,

Hello from Teriw

Many thanks for your comments on the draft for 'Jo Loves', previously reviewed by Onel5969. You asked to "Please modify the fragrances heading such that, it doesn't include the products of the brand...". Do you mean removing this sentence: "Jo Loves launched with four debut fragrances, titled Pomelo, Gardenia, Green Orange & Coriander, and Orange Tulle[4]." or all text above the fragrances table? Thanks so much for clarifying, really appreciate it! Teriw (talk) 13:49, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

Ma pleasure Teriw! The subject is notable and I think removing the table with the individual products (fragrances) of the company will increase the chances of your article getting accepted.. You may include a sentence or two including 'what the company produces..' but not the info of individual products.. Thank you for your work. Wiki greatly appreciates it and Happy Editing! --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 14:15, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks Jaaron95! If we remove the table can we keep the following (slightly reworded): "The company produces 14 different fragrances,[9] as well as bath cologne, body crème, body lotion, bath & shower gel[10], and scented candles. The scent called 'Pomelo' was the first fragrance that Malone created after a five-year pause from creating fragrances[6]. Malone has explained that all of her products capture the things in life that inspire her[7], and many of the scents are influenced by Malone's interest in cooking.[8]" Thanks again for your advice!

(talk) 13:49, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

@Teriw: Yep! That should be Ok.. Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 14:28, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
@Jaaron95: Thank you, this has been amended. If I resubmit will the next reviewer see that you helped here?

(talk) 15:48, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

@Teriw: In your userpage you have mentioned, you are an employee of Jo Loves... With that being there, I cannot guarantee your article getting accepted, and every line of your article will come under scrutiny.. Please read Wikipedia's policy on 'conflict of interest. I am sorry to say, but you have to remove all the possible promotional contents from the article (even the slightest one). You have a good article there and the subject is notable in particular. And I don't want to ruin your article's future by placing {{COI}} tag there (maybe someone else will). That's all I can tell now. You can get more help from here. Thank you. --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 15:09, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

Barbra Streisand's records sale

Hello. If I could, I'd like to ask: Is that true Barbra Streisand has sold 245 million records worldwide? I'm asking cause in the 'best selling artist' article it is written she's sold 145 million units, but I'm afraid there is running sth like edit warring in the 'Barbra Streisand' detail article (various users keep adding 124 or 245 million figure in turns, regardless that cited in article source claims 145 million units figure), so I'm little confused and I'm really care which total sale's number is true (I don't wanna inflate nor understate it, I just wanna know the true). :) If you could in any way help me with that or at least try to check it, I'll be really grateful. Thank you in advance, sorry for interrupting (but I think you are reliable and knowledgeable person :) ) and greetings. PS. I've answered your comment on my talk page. 87.207.65.84 (talk) 21:00, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello 87.207.65.84 thanks for taking time to write to me.. I'm not sure what copies you are talking about (I don't have sufficient knowledge on the person as I'm an Indian), but as a rule of thumbs, whenever you add a new content, make it a habit of citing a reliable source. In this way the contents of Wikipedia can be verifiable and true. But when writing/adding contents about a living person make it absolutely sure that a reliable source must be added to verify the information or else it'll be removed. See here. The addition to Barbra Streisand seems to add praise/promotion/puffery to the subject which was reverted by another editor and I've requested a page protection there which will help to avoid source-less claims. Thank you for understanding and happy editing! --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 04:04, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Thank You for your answer, all You've done to reply me and for adding "welcome" on my talk. :) I understand, I just wanna mention that in the Barbra's article it is written she's sold 245 million records, but cited in the very same article source about O2 Arena concert claims 145 million figure (the same problem is concerning the 'Barbra Streisand's discography' article), so there is internal contradiction in 2 articles and I'm little confused which information I can use as correct. Thank You. 87.207.65.84 (talk) 11:21, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Hello 87.207.65.84 if there prevails a contradiction among reliable sources, the appropriate thing to do is to start a topic in the article's talkpage about the problem and explain the problems in brief. Other editors who are regulars there, will address your concern. As the article is now semi protected, only auto confirmed editors will be able to edit the page, and you have no other option but to create a talk page discussion. If you are found correct in your point, auto confirmed editors will perform the edit on behalf of you.. Thanks and happy editing. --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 15:44, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

Dear my friend, please add new meaning of a word 'tabloid'. It can be ussed as a synonym with word 'tablet' (pc) nowadays it is more popular to say tabloid than tablet. Thank you so much. have a good time.

@188.69.192.70: Hello, and thanks for your contributions here.. I don't think Tabloid computer is renowned/standard English word and hence I removed that... And you linked to a non-existing page, well that page is a disambiguation page and has to link to another article... Meanings normally go into Wiktionary.. Re: Last Edit

Hey Jaaron,

I also updated the section. There is a big difference between assault and sexual assault or rape. Rather than adding back "rape", I updated to "sexual assault". This term was also used in the media coverage and trust you are ok with the edit now.

Hello jaaron95. I am a novice at this and trying to lear to do this correctly. I have submitted this article (Kendall Almerico) a few times and made the edits suggested, but it keeps getting rejected. Last time, I specifically asked Joseph (who did the last edit) what to edit and did (I thought) exactly what he said to do, and yet it got rejected again.I really am trying to do this right, and I thought last time I made the article exactly what he asked for. Maybe you can help and point out what parts of it you feel are inappropriate and I will try again. Thank you. I truly appreciate the help and the learning experience. Trentaaronsilver (talk) 21:46, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello Trentaaronsilver thanks for taking time to write to me and Appreciate your work here! I wanted to accept the article but something held me back. The thing was, the article only emphasizes on the subject's career and has trivial info on other aspects. I'd like to see more information for example, on his personal life, his achievements (as a separate topic) etc something like that. I'd direct you to other biographic articles in Wiki, how it's written, the style. For e.g., this one A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. And don't worry, I'm not asking an article that long but, expand upon the existing details and give due importance to other aspects of his life.. Thanks and happy editing! --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 03:48, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello from JamesCurtis1990

Hi Jaaron95,

Recently you rejected the ADA MILLENNIUM page.

Could you expand further on lack of suitable references? There are a number of independent sources referenced.

Thanks,

James — Preceding unsigned comment added by JamesCurtis1990 (talkcontribs) 03:30, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

Hello JamesCurtis1990 thanks for your contributions here. Sorry I rejected your article, but you can work on it to point out the subject's notability. (P.S. Read all the links given below and you'll get to know what I'm saying) There are references to the article most of which are the company's website itself and the only independent reliable source I could find is this one. The submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability—see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies and the golden rule. Please improve the submission's referencing, so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. You can add citations (see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners) to secondary reliable sources that are entirely independent of the subject. Regards --JAaron95 | Talk | Contribs 04:10, 25 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi Lfarabough, thanks for your contributions and co-operation here in Wikipedia. Please read 'What are reliable sources?' to get an idea on what is a reliable source.. Hello. Thank you for your message regarding the God Made Me Funky wikipedia page. Apologies if I lack the technical know how regarding your above requirements. I have made attempted to make some edits to the God made Me Funky page because there is currently a trademark dispute in process with a former member who is trying to do harm to our reputation including, performing events under our name, using our image/likeness. My personal image appears in many of the photos on the page and I am not comfortable with that especially if the website and social media point anywhere else except the correct channels. This ex member has locked us out of a few of our social media accounts forcing us to create new ones and this should be updated on Wikipedia. If you are able to check the history you will see that www.godmademefunky.com has always been the url associated with the band "God Made Me Funky" from Toronto, Canada.

I find wikipedia incredibly overwhelming to navigate and to try get any action taken (I feel like I need a degree in coding). The member that is causing all of these headaches is one member out of 8 band members the rest of whom stand united. We are currently in launching legal proceedings against this individual.

Please help us right this situation.

Updated this page after I used some quotes from the company elsewhere and was surprised that it didn't have a page.

Previous author's version was more like an advert but updated to change that. granted its a bit short but private companies don't always have much data available thats verifiable. Looks ok to me now based on Notability (organizations and companies)

Its notable and a subject matter expert. Hopefully once listed others will add more. Already requested that the logo is added.

Hello from Rochte

Hello. I noticed your comment (and many others) about vandalism on the talk page for 50.77.236.202. I am the Tech Director at the elementary and middle school that uses this IP address. I would personally recommend blocking anonymous edits from our address, if at all possible. I'm hoping that won't also lock out my account when I use it from school, but if so, I still think it would be in the best interest of Wikipedia. Thanks. no Declined @Rochte: Dear Robert, I have reviewed the editing history of 50.77.236.202 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). While it is true that this IP has been used to vandalize Wikipedia in the past, there has not been any activity from it since April 27, 2015. Aside from the month of April, the IP address is rarely used. I would also like to point out in October 2014, the IP reverted some vandalism. School IPs are often problematic and are frequently used for vandalism. That being said, spouts of vandalism are often short lived and there are measures that can be implemented to stop it. I'm reluctant to block the IP simply because Wikipedia is a website that will likely be a frequently visited website by your students in the lifespan of the Internet. It is a free encyclopedia that anyone can edit, even students. While most may vandalize, there is the potential that some may make their first contribution. That to us is very important. As a volunteer in the community, I will watch the talk page of this IP and step in if required. So you're also aware, there is a means to block anonymous editing whereby editors must login to an account to edit. Mkdwtalk 07:30, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
