Speedy deletion nomination of User:UPERDFI-UP DILIMAN/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:UPERDFI-UP DILIMAN/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — O Fortuna velut luna 13:57, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]There have been two problems identified with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.
If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:
Good day! May I request to your good office to please consider my intention to create a wikipedia page for UPERDFI. This is my first time to create an account. I am not aware of the guidelines until I see this morning that the account has been blocked. It is a good help to read various steps written on the site to how I can create a wikipedia page. I really need your help on how to create a page wherein the students, same as with alumni to be informed on the current status of the office same be informative to those who are not yet informed with UPERDFI office. Herewith is an overview of the office. The UP Engineering Research and Development Foundation Inc (UPERDFI) is a non-stock and non-profit private foundation registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and with the Department of Science and Technology. Since its establishment in 1972, it has committed to support the UP College of Engineering in Diliman (UPDCOE) by generating financial resources; managing endowment funds and specified donations; awarding financial support for the faculty and students; administering donations (financial and in kind) for buildings and classrooms and for research and instructional laboratories; and advocating for academe, government and industry linkages that focus on research and academics. UPERDFI comprises about 125 members who are mostly alumni of UPDCOE, and is run by a 15-person Board of Trustees: eleven elected to serve 3-year overlapping terms, and four ex-officio. We work hand in hand with the UP Alumni Engineers Association, Inc. (UPAE) in mobilizing support from individuals and corporate organizations. We provide some administrative support to the UP National Engineering Center (UP NEC), particularly as regards research projects and technical activities undertaken by the center. It is recognized by the Bureau of Internal Revenue as a Donee Institution, exempting donors from paying donor's tax and providing 100% expense deductibility of donations. It is also a listed recipient of donations made through the Friends of the University of Philippines Foundation in America, enabling donors to receive an Acknowledgement Letter recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service. SGV & Co. is the independent auditor. UPERDFI-UP DILIMAN (talk) 06:04, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Decline, for the reasons already pointed out to you. This username is inappropriate and you are violating WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO. Yamla (talk) 11:02, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
