Welcome!

Hello, UNIV 1200, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like TE Sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! I'mperator 00:17, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of TE Sandbox

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. March 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Post literacy, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. Please remember that Wikipedia is a tertiary source: we cannot accept work unless it is referenced to reliable and independent third party sources which have described the concept about which you are writing in the terms you are using. Please take a careful read through of Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Verifiability, and Wikipedia:Avoid neologisms. What you have created is what we call Synthesis, and as such we deem inappropriate for inclusion. If this is a school project, please carefully read Wikipedia:School and university projects: there is guidance and a number of resources there to help you use Wikipedia as a teaching tool in ways that also conform to our standards. Thanks. T L Miles (talk) 16:40, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Post literacy

[edit]

An editor has nominated Post literacy, an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Post literacy and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you.
