Bird name capitalization
[edit]Hi Tz'unun, and welcome to Wikipedia! You seem to have a lot of expertise about birds -- thanks for your contributions! When I was looking at the history of Anna's hummingbird, I noticed that you changed the capitalization of the species that's the subject of the article. While this capitalization is common in many specialist sources, Wikipedians have decided (after frankly somewhat excessive discussion) not to capitalize bird species names here. See Wikipedia_talk:Manual_of_Style/Archive_156#Bird_common_name_decapitalisation if you'd like to review the discussion, but it's probably not worth your effort. Anyways, I'm going to change the capitalization back at Anna's hummingbird. To avoid trouble in the future, please don't change to capitalized versions of species names. Happy editing, and let me know if you have any questions! Calliopejen1 (talk) 22:52, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
