User talk:Typenolies
A tag has been placed on on your user page, User:Typenolies, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam and the guidelines on user pages.
If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page in question and leave a note on this page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calton | Talk 11:00, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit]The page in question was not advertising, it was simply a page I was putting up to fill a void in Wikipedia where the album was listed on a previous Wikpedia page, but was not yet created... I did leave a link to site that does in fact sell albums, but it was a site which I used for information gathering and I felt it was appropriate to list it based on this fact. The reason that I had it posted on my page was that it was recommended for when creating a page for you to first put it on your user page before finishing it up and posting it as a new article. There was no commercial intent whatsoever and it was left simply so that I could be aware of appropriate details which I had yet to add to the article... I was also not aware there was such backlash to a page which I simply did not feel was necessary to remove, and I had not yet made plans for more appropriate substance because the instructions given on how to use your user page were confusing. I.e. I could not post information about myself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Typenolies (talk • contribs) This was written by myself on my user page and I will add my signature to this statement for clarification Typenolies (talk) 04:01, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
The article The Jesus Experience has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
