DW series 4
[edit]We don't get Doctor Who for another month, so I'd say... about June? I don't know, but I know SciFi are getting it about two weeks after it airs here. Will (talk) 10:31, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Your Note
[edit]Hi Type 40. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Life away from wiki is a bit hectic right now. I'm not sure that I have any big suggestions for the "DW in NA" page. It is a special article for me because I got to live through a lot of what is mentioned in it. I volunteered to help with the telephones at my local PBS station during airings of the show at pledge time. I got to know the group that ran the "Doctor Who Fan Club of America" as it was based here in Denver and I went to the convention in Chicago in '83 which was an incredible event. They had planned for two or three thousand people and around 10,000 fans showed up. Well, enough of that. As I look over the page the one suggestion that I could mke is that I think that it might read better it the US and the Canada info was seperated out. It seems to bounce back and forth between the two without any real continuity. But that is just me, if it reads okay to you then I wouldn't worry about it.
If you are thinking about making larger structural changes to the article I would suggest that you might want to start a sandbox for that purpose. There you could experiment with moving the info about. You could then ask other members of the project to take a look and make alterations as needed. That way you would have a fair consensus to any big changes before making them to the article itself. Of course you might not have any ideas like that in mind but I thought that I would mention this just in case.
Thanks again for your note and I apologize if I haven't been of much help. Cheers and happy editing.. MarnetteD | Talk 22:59, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
