Thanks for all the work on the Whitecaps articles. I'm not sure if you're aware of the controversy you may be creating. I'll give you a clue: look at Talk:Vancouver Whitecaps FC; and a hint: not everyone thinks the Whitecaps' legacy should go back to 1974. I'm looking for some info on the older Whitecaps logo, and wondering where you got this info: "At this time, the Whitecaps logo changed slightly in colour (the light teal-green was replaced with a brighter blue) and the word Vancouver was dropped from the image." MLS redirects

Hey, Twwalter -

I undid your redirect of "MLS" to Major League Soccer. There are too many other meanings for the acronym (employed outside the fairly narrow set of people who are U.S.-based soccer fans) to single that one out - a realtor, for example, would immediately think of Multiple Listing Service. More generally, you're making a lot of valuable edits, but please take care. For example, try to stick with sourced material (e.g., for the "full names" of DC United and Toronto FC, which I also undid), don't leave things half-completed, like the section headings you created for MLS Cup 2010 but then didn't fill, and watch out for typos (your redirect of Walking Bout Company was a redlink). Hi! I saw that this article was tagged by CorenSearchBot and I'm following up on that. You are correct that the external site identified was a false positive, but there is an issue with copying text from one page into another page.

While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to make a note in an edit summary at the source page as well. Revert explanation

Just a quick explanation for why I reverted this edit. The main reason is that it is not accurate. Just off the top of my head I can think of the K-League and S-League that don't have pro/rel. I also believe there are a few other leagues in AFC don't have pro/rel yet. The other is that, even if it were true, I'm not sure of how important that information is that it would need to be in the article's lede vs. all the other information in the article that is also not mentioned in the lede. --Bobblehead ^(rants) 02:06, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
