Welcome / 12th Street Riot
[edit]G'day, Twohlford. Thanks for your message re. the sources. Always good to see one's [citation needed] tags being properly disposed of. Also allow me to welcome you and your new name to Wikipedia officially (though since you've evidently been at it for a while without a user name, I'll forego the standard 'Welcome' template - you're probably a bit beyond that). Feel free to call on me if you've any questions...! Cheers, Ian Rose 13:07, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Ganassi and Wheldon and tech.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Ganassi and Wheldon and tech.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:09, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

USAC
[edit]You are right, Wikipedia is lacking in USAC history at its tracks. Several tracks don't have articles. There is much to do. We would appreciate your effort to help this problem. I invite you to join me in WikiProject American Open Wheel Racing, a WikiProject aimed at improving open wheel articles including AAA, USAC, CART/Champ Car, IRL, Silver Crown, Midgets, etc. Royalbroil 19:26, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
Notification of automated file description generation
[edit]Your upload of File:BuddyPostQualify.JPG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! - Another one of your uploads, File:BuddyRice.JPG, has also had some information automatically added. If you get a moment, please review the bot's contributions there as well. Thanks! Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 14:27, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File source problem with File:Malicegreen.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Malicegreen.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wikiacc (¶) 22:18, 14 December 2019 (UTC)

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

[edit]Hi Twohlford! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Heather Heying several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Heather Heying, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Bon courage (talk) 05:08, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
- This place isn't the same since it adopted it's political biases. Actually, codified them. With the entire COVID thing, there were some 200,000 academic papers written in 3 years on the subject, and many of them disagree with each other. And what was "dogma true" yesterday isn't so true today. The language that I oppose on here seems like it's written by a CDC bot. And as we all know, getting thrown off of a "social media" forum (and I do note the tone of your message) for disagreeing with the CDC drones is common. Twohlford (talk) 18:01, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
Biden-Ukraine article
[edit]as I said last night
The allegations made long ago described in this article are false. More recent allegations are pending. This is not the "Every allegation made against Joe Biden" article.
Biden-Ukraine is not about allegations of bribery and recordings and Hunter's text to the Chinese guy and the IRS guy. soibangla (talk) 00:02, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- Dude, the WaPost and NYTimes were all over this in the Obama admin. I have no clue what you think, but at least you MUST open this up to the idea that indeed this isn't as it's written here. Wiki is now the stronghold of either Dem bots, or Dem activists, and it will go down as the credibility of this epoch of Dems declines. YOU ARE CONVINCING NO ONE.
