Diane Arkenstone
[edit]Hey. Can you clarify your relationship with Diane Arkenstone? Seems to me that if you're releasing File:Diane Arkenstone.jpg in CC-SA and you're the holder of the copyright, then you're somehow involved with her. Thanks. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 19:12, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, I am representing Diane Arkenstone in modifying her article. Diane has asked me to upload this photo for her article. It is free license. And Diane Arkenstone is the copyright holder of the photo. I've set both Author and Source properties of the file to say Diane Arkenstone to reflect this. Tweebee (talk) 19:22, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- In what capacity do you represent her? Do you work for Neo Pacifica or something like that? By the way, you should really read WP:COI, which talks about being a conflict of interest. You editing the article about her poses a concern because of POV issues. The article has to stay as neutral as possible. Further, we have to stop the article from becoming an advertisement. Please keep this in mind for your future edits. Thanks. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 19:26, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- I do not work for Neo Pacifica. Diane and I are friends, and she has asked me to help updating this article. I have read WP:COI and we are both aware of POV issues and keeping the article neutral. So far, we're only providing facts and corrections to this article, such as her divorced status to David Arkenstone, correcting that they do not have children together, updating her discography, etc. We just want to have the facts straight on this article and understand that the article needs to be kept neutral. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tweebee (talk • contribs) 19:46, June 24, 2010
- The other thing is that text here needs to be reliably sourced. Just because you and Diane know something to be true - like her being divorced - doesn't mean that it can just be included. I know that sounds really strange, but it's just the way that WP:V works. You'll need to keep that in mind as well. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 19:56, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

- Yes, we understand the guidelines and did try to provide reliable sources as we made edits. We will continue to keep these points in mind for future edits. Thank you. Tweebee (talk) 20:06, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
